Use EVERY season~ Always have extras ready...
These do their job so well & the birds have never suffered! I catch yellow jackets, get them out early & late & aim/ catch queens. Taking down the population as much as possible! I had 9 traps almost full 2 years ago so they really helped last year.

They work great!!!
The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. The wasps were attracted to the trap as soon as I hung it up. I caught over a hundred wasps with just two traps within the first week. I took the advice from another review and took a few plastic panels off of the cage and this allowed the wasps to get at it quicker. You would just need to be careful that you don’t have people or animals that might get near the opened area of the trap as they are very sticky and bated with something. These traps work the best out of everything I’ve tried so far. I paid $25 for one but it’s worth the money to get my gazebo back from the bees.

Success on day one
The trap caught two wasps and a fly on the first day. I had tried liquid bait traps for weeks previously without success.

Works well
Could see some wasps going into soffit out front. Placed this in between soffit and downspout. I left half of the caging off to make it easier for wasps to get on to it. I read in other reviews it helps to bait wasps separately with this unit, so I placed an apple slice and a pc of cold cut meat nicely into the caging and a day later there is at least 30 wasps on it. Once they land they’re stuck. Will def purchase again.

Catches Tons of Stinging Insects
I had used one of these last year, and forgot to check it, and during winter took it down and it was literally covered with all sorts of flies, small yellowjackets, etc and a wasp or two. So this year I ordered more, put one out and already have one yellow jacket and several other flying insects. I really like the bird guards and they are quick and easy to pop into place. So I now have several of these, two on my deck, one near the swing and one near the front door. No more flies getting in when I open the front door, they usually are already caught on the sticky trap. And it is seriously sticky. Highly recommend, and they seem to work all season or until they are totally covered with bugs
