K&N Premium Cabin Air Filter: High Performance, Washable, Clean Airflow To Your Cabin: Designed For Select 1999-2010 Toyota/Scion (Echo, Rav4, Vitz, Tc, Xa Xb), Vf2009

This fits my 2007 Scion tC perfectly.The packing box it came in was smashed on one side, and the filter packaging was a little smashed on one side but the metal screenage that the filter has, was only slightly out of shape. The sides were tweaked in a bit making it a very slight figure 8 curve to the filter. Because of it's metal screen, I was able to pull gently to reshape the filter so there was no gap on either side so overall the filter was in decent shape. I haven't yet ordered the cleaning kit for it though. The package contains the filter, inside of a clear plastic bag and a set of instructions on how to replace it generically speaking. There is no vehicle specific install instructions when you get your filter. There is also included in the product packaging, a K&N sticker and a STOP sticker that you place on the outside of the cabin filter housing to let anyone know the filter is washable and to not throw it away. That was cool. I have only just installed it, but that was a breeze too. Since my car was purchased used last year, I had to clear out some old acorn shells from inside the squirrel cage fan assembly inside. I think the car must have sat for a while somewhere before I purchased it. Anyway, it's all installed and fits great!

Installed on a 2006 Scion xA and fits like a glove. Did not have to modify the tray and/or tabs at all.

Replaced my old paper air filter, love these things. Every month I give my interior a full clean and blow all the vents out. Used to just replace paper filters...but I like these reusables, and won’t be going back now!

Before I found this product, I never knew that they made washable cabin air filters. In fact, I did't know that I had a cabin air filter in my 04 Rav4....shows how car savy I am. When I found the original air filter in my glove box compartment it was completely trashed. I initially looked at disposable replacements, but didn't want to have to buy and replace those every few thousand miles. This filter is very sturdy. I have a noticeable difference in cabin air quality since replacing. I love that I can wash it out and reuse as needed.
