Very lightweight and great fit for the Feiyu g5 gimbal
Very lightweight and great fit for the Feiyu g5 gimbal. Not the easiest system for unlocking and extending but super solid even fully extended with the weight of the camera and gimbal at the end. If you have the little foldable tripod that comes with some sellers of the G5 connects to the bottom of this so you have a nice little portable system from resetting up your action cam on the go.

Does not fit Feiyutech G5!!!!!!
If you are getting this for the Feiyutech G5, be aware that the G5 does not have the thread at the bottom of the gimbo to connect to this extension. I am not sure if they recently changed it so these aftermarket products won’t fit or what but it was a waste of money for me because my kids threw away the packaging for this extension so I can’t return it. Not the fault of this extension.

Will not work on the G5!
DOES NOT FIT the G5 as stated, only the G4.The G5 uses a 1/4" screw. This extension pole (Included with the G5 gimble I just bought here) has closer to a 7/8" screw end that the G4 uses.IF YOU HAVE THE G5 GIMBLE, THIS IS THE EXTENSION POLE YOU NEED.....feiyu new extension pole for G5/SPG/WG2

Product extended and locked well. I, however, ended up returning it because it does not fit the version 2 gimbal. Also, the 1/4 inch tripod adapter on the bottom was glued in and not very sturdy.

Perfect fit with G5
Perfect, great extension, light weight. Didn't realize it extended at first. What a great price. Can't reach controls when fully extended and F5 app is sluggish but works.
