Easy to use; perfect in size, shape, design, and texture; and essential for my ability to function.
My husband gives me a hard time about the way it looks, but these literally help me maintain my functionality and relieve some of the pain I live in daily.I broke my spine in 2011 and, though surgery has repaired a great deal, I still have lingering effects. This is soft (not painful to press against) but firm enough to press against as much or as little as you need. The shape provides very targeted pressure, and the suction cup allows you to use it against a wall. When the muscles that run alongside my neck and into the base of my skull (Semispinalis Capitis) seize, this allows me to apply steady pressure to them and get them to release. so I can turn my head enough to drive to my massage therapist. 🤪I have two of these, so I can also lie on them with them under the points around my shoulder blades (rhomboideus muscle groups) to loosen them.I also have a rib that catches, and this usually helps me get that back in place as well.

Very impressed
This is an addition to my earlier review (below). I have since discovered that I indeed have a metal door in my home – my front door. I wet the suction cup with a little water, and secure the device to the door. Once secured, this handy massage tool remains fast to the door for days. It's absolutely amazing. Also, I no longer have trouble with my knees, because I place a stool next to the door, sit on it, and then lean against the device. This set-up is perfect for relieving tight muscles. I have cushions of a couple different thicknesses that I can use on the stool to give me different heights as I lean back against the massage tool. That way I don't have to move the massage tool so often. This works wonderfully for me!My previous review:This little device is a gem, though it does have a few drawbacks. It is sturdy and feels firm, but not too hard, on knotted muscles. The suction works well on a proper surface. Unfortunately, I don't have a good surface. My walls are all papered. My refrigerator has a beveled metal surface. I did take it on vacation once, and it worked well on a stainless steel refrigerator door. The other issue is that if you are trying to adhere it to a surface behind you, it is difficult to locate the exact spot you need. One ends up bending one's knees to get ones back properly positioned, and then trying to press against the wall or door behind you. Soon, my knees hurt. However, I still like it as a massage tool. My husband locates trigger points on my back with his hand, then holds the tool in the proper spot. This is easier on his fingers, as he doesn't have to press hard and hold a tight knotted muscle with his fingers. He uses the tool. Sometimes, he can locate the trigger spot with his hand, position the tool, and then I lean back against the back of the chair to get the right amount of pressure. If one doesn't have issues with their knees and has a proper surface on which to adhere the tool, I think it would work well as described. But it is still useful as a handheld device if adhering it to a wall or door doesn't work for you.

Works great if you can find a place to stick it
Needs very smooth surface to stay in place. No metal available and I wasnt about to lean on tile. Finally found a smooth-enough wall in my upstairs closet. Thats a bit inconvenient, but...once in place it works great, I like it better than my Thummby. I may never leave the closet again.

Perfect for trigger point therapy
I have a very bad back, but I have to use trigger point therapy. The only chiropractor that could do it lives in another state. So I have been using a ball to do it on myself. However, it is not the perfect design. So I found this product which is very close to the human finger and it’s much more effective when applying trigger point therapy to yourself than the ball. So this design works perfectly for me and I took a point therapy that I applied to myself.

Simple but extremely effective
I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Rolling around on a tennis ball or lacrosse ball has been something I’ve done for years to try and get those knots out of my shoulder and back but it just never seemed to really get in there. The day I got this I stuck it on the door and was able to work into my shoulder blades and release some knots that have been really hard to get too and felt immediate relief and gained some range of motion.Highly recommend!

Not worth it
Does not suction good at all! Falls off without touching it and I’ve had it a week

This product does not vibrate
This massager does not vibrate. It is great for deep tissue pressure massage, but if you need vibration in addition to pressure, I would look somewhere else. I returned this product, because I need vibration as well as pressure for my back.

My best friend!!!
I have fibromyalgia and it primarily effects my neck and across the top of my shoulders. My pain is typically 6-7/10 daily with it getting as high as 10 frequently. It truly is quite debilitating at times. I’ve tried neck massagers but end up feeling bruised and in more pain the next day. THIS!!!! THIS LITTLE GEM has been a HUGE game changer. I won’t say my pain is completely resolved after using it, BUT it is improved a great deal. It relieves the pain and also the stiffness, which gives back some range of motion. It alleviates the headaches I get from always being tensed up. It also works all up and down the back. The good thing is you are in control of the amount of pressure. It works on the hips and I even place on the floor and use it on my sore feet at the end of the day. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get it just right but it’s worth the effort. I am tempted to buy a few more in case I lose one or they discontinue it.
