Extremely pleased with results
So, so very pleased! For YEARS I have been combatting Japanese beetles on my roses and other flowers and spending a small fortune on insecticide while my flowers were ruined daily. This spring I decided to try something different. I applied the product in two large gardens and along my sidewalk where rose bushes are. It is now the end of June, and for the first time ever, no beetles. The roses have beautiful blooms. The application was easy, I waited to spread it when I knew there would be a soaking rain. Unlike others, I did not see any grubs dead in my lawn, and was concerned that I wasted money. I can honestly say that this product was effective for me, and the hundreds of jap beetles and grubs have mainly been eradicated. I will purchase this again in the fall and apply it once again. Very pleased with the results.

Bayer Season Long Grub Control Granules - Really Works!
No more moles! In this North Texas heat, it started working in about 1 week. Absorbed into the lawn very well. I have a mixture of Zoysia and St. Augustine grasses. I am very pleased and this product will be the only insect control product that I will use going forward, having tried everything else to get rid of grubs and make the moles leave my property to dig and eat elsewhere. Get rid of their food, and the moles will simply packup and leave.

All at the recommended times and amounts
I spent a fortune on Spectra**** spray. All at the recommended times and amounts. It did nothing. This product actually worked. I was losing a lot of lawn to chafer grubs, the big ones depicted on the bag. I applied mid July after the beetles had hatched and apparently were busy re laying eggs into the turf. I've included images from nearly a month ago, and today. Not perfect, but finally filling in nicely. I'm still finding grubs in the sod, so the season long might not be as accurate. We also noticed less damage by the Japanese beetles on the grapes. Perhaps they were slowed down as well. It's kind of pricey, but I'll use this again next year. 7/4/2020 update. This is still my go to product. My lawn looks great this year. I planted 5 trees recently and found no grubs in the turf I removed.

Amazing product
My lawn looked like a jack russell terrier dug up the entire thing, but it was destroyed by voles. Someone told me to get grub killer and I applied this product. True to what they said, in two weeks the lawn became healhier and the voles are gone! Worth every penny!

I Question The Coverage
At the highest setting recommended for my Scott Spreader 10 lbs covered around 2,500 sq ft. You would need 4 bags to do 10,000 sq. ft. At the lowest recommended setting which I used in my back yard, you would need 3 bags to do 10,000 sq, ft. The Scott products I normally use always give me accurate coverage results with this spreader, which is there best and fairly new. Will have to wait to see how effective this product is.

Kills cockroaches!
My lawn looked stressed. I live in the Central Valley and the heat can really be a problem. But then it started looking like something was tunneling underneath. I have possums that visit and I suspected they were going after cockroaches, which are very prevalent, especially this time of the year. It was when I was turning over the soil in my vegetable garden that I found grubs, which I had never seen before and looked like aliens. That's when I started putting this all together. I just applied this product, and it seems like my lawn is greening almost immediately. I don't know if grubs are the problem because I didn't turn over my turf, but the big bonus is how it killed the cockroaches. They were coming in my front door if anybody opened it at night, and I was fighting them with spray, diatomaceous earth, boric acid, and roach hotels. Now I have gotten them at the source. I'm not a fan of poisons and try to use them judiciously because I have animals and I put out a bowl of food for the street cats, which can be problematic in itself, but I highly recommend this product.

Effective gross grub control
2-3 weeks after application, dying grubs started making their way to the surface of my planter boxes. I have not seen any emerging from the grass yet. There were more than 20 gross white grubs from the area pictured, so I blame them for killing my poor rose. Finally broke down and used chemical pesticides, and I should have done so earlier. It was so easy to just dump a bunch into a spreader and cover my entire little lawn and garden. I’ve invested thousands into my little apartment garden but can’t control the neglect of the other apartments around me, so it’s priceless to have an effective treatment I can count on to actually care for my space. I’m basing the “season long” on the grubs’ lifecycle so I plan to do at least two treatments per year. I’ll do a second round October 1st, which is 6 weeks after the first application, since there is obviously seriously infested parts of the garden so hitting the grubs twice before they go deeper underground for winter. Next year, I will apply the first dose of spring in April with a second dose in August, and optional 3rd application in October if it’s bad again like this year has been. Friendly reminder to mow your grass and do all your trimming first. I’d also recommend wearing a mask and gloves when applying this and any other pesticide. Personally I also kept my mask on while watering this grub control in because it’s a bit dusty, and then kept my pets away for 48 hours to make sure the top layer of soil had properly dried out. It could have been good to go the next day because it seems to absorb well but this is a pretty serious chemical so just make sure the dirt dried out before it becomes a play space again.
