100W Cordless Hot Glue Gun Compatible with Dewalt 20V MAX Battery

OMG! ARE YOU A CRAFTER? I have been crafting for over 35 years and I’ve always used a hot glue gun that was attached to a plug in cord. It always required some logistical planning depending if there was an outlet nearby and where the project was located. This cordless hot gun hot gun is a game changer. (100W Cordless Hot Glue Gun (gun tool only) compatible with 18V Battery) Didn’t have to deal with any cord in the way while working. The charge was quick, the gun took but a few minutes to get hot and the battery was still strong after an hour of use. The rechargeable 18V battery and charging station was a SEPARATE purchase. I’m very happy with the glue gun as it performed exceptionally well. Very little to no excess dripping from the nozzle. I think you need one too! I recently purchased this to hang some solar lights out in the yard I wanted to more permanently affix. I have a pretty nice hot glue gun I use for other things but it's plug in and this was fairly inexpensive and perfect for not having to run a long extension cord (and I like tools...). I wasn't invested in Red when I bought the original glue gun. Manual says wait 3-5 mins. Glue was hot and ready to go in about 1.5 mins. I probably glued up 10-12 string lights and didn't dent the battery so not huge draw. Orifice same size as my high end gun. I dinged it on weight just so you don't think this will be as light as a plug in gun but I actually prefer the heavier weight with the battery and you can easily just set it down, stands up and won't go anywhere (lighter weight plug in guns tend to get twisted by the cord and fall over). I'm sure this will replace my other glue gun 97% of the time. The only thing I really can't comment on is the quality of the glue sticks. They worked fine for what I was doing. I bought my other glue gun to make hardboard templates for stair skirts, tiling etc. to glue the hardboard together and transfer measurements. I did have to upgrade my glue sticks to something more construction grade for that application. Definitely recommend.

Very impressive Glue Gun. Spreads a large stream compared to other glue guns. May not be as appropriate for fine detailed work, but perfect for large jobs. No drip tray built in, but does not leak glue when using. Green/Red light for on and go/no-go is perfect. Fits nicely with the name brand yellow batteries. I am very pleased.

So far works well. Fits the Milwaukee batteries well, just be sure to use a 5.0ah battery or bigger, the 1.5ah will drain way too fast. The 6.0ah last pretty long with it. Glue gun itself is very light. My only gripe is how much of the body will get hot beyond the tip it could have been better insulated. Don’t grab above the handle at the front half it gets toasty! Overall very pleased for the price. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the heat on the body and I haven’t had time to determine if it will hold up long term

After trying several cheaper glue guns, corded and cordless that were nearly useless for melting industrial grade sticks I took a chance on this. Fairly light even w/ battery attached, trigger is easy pull and it doesn't drip! (like most), highly recommend if you need such a tool.

It works well plenty of glue. You could probably burn through a glue-stick in 30 seconds if you wanted to. Its great for the price. It took right at 3 min to heat up. With a dewalt 5ah batter this thing would probably run 3 or more hours. I tried it with a powerstack and it worked well. I ran it for 40 minutes and still had 2 bars. I thought it might be a little too big and uncomfortable to use, but the size is great. Cordless is wonderful, and seems safer than corded. The color is good.

When I first bought one of these, I thought it would be extremely disappointing. I was shocked at how well they perform on a four or five amp battery. It is certainly not the same as a 200 W corded hot glue gun. However, I use hot glue guns often for installing cabinetry to glue shims in place and other functions. So when there is a job that does not have electricity or I’m doing punchlist or something else it is really convenient to have a cordless option. I expected it to kill the battery very quickly however it does not do that. My employees prefer the cordless version at this point most of the time if they’re doing small tasks. Definitely worth trying out.

Absolutely recommend. Heats up fast and gets plenty hot. Can pump through glue sticks one after another. Why doesn’t Milwaukee make this??

Works like charm, price is right and overall a very good addition to the toolbox. The fact I can use the same batteries as my other tools is the highest selling point. I do have another excellent glue gun but it is wired, needs a extension cord, gets in the way. since this one shares batteries with my other tools in the box it just a matter of snapping a battery and get the job done.

Heats up quickly and feeds glue stick well. Recommended
