Newly purchased. Light weight and beautiful matt screen which were part of the features I wanted. Occasional use however the right swivel/hinge is already broken. I hope acer will get in touch. Watch this space.

Overall I'm happy with it & would recommend it.
I do like this product & overall its' reasonable value for money. I've only one big complaint which is the sound quality on video calls. It's very poor. I solved it by buying earphones & do bear in mind there isn't a DVD slot.

Ok laptop
So this laptop is ok but there are annoyances with it. The speakers don’t go very loud at all, the screen quality isn’t great, the mouse is very sensitive even when turned down to the lowest. The laptop also shuts down when idle which is very annoying. Good things are it’s very light and small, finger print rec is great!

A good workhorse
I use this laptop for programming and general coursework as I am a university student. No complaints with its function just yet. Zippy, does everything I need quickly. For casual use this is almost certainly overkill, but works great for me.I did initially have a defective unit however so quality control could be considered lacking, loses a star for that. For the price you expect it to just work, which it didn’t. Refund process was irritating but not the fault of the laptop of course.Screen is good, I recommend reducing the software zoom to make the most of it. Backlighting makes the keys hard to see in daylight, but it’s easily turned off and of great benefit in low light. Price is very reasonable considering the internals.Overall, a good workhorse. Should get me to the end of my degree without issue.
