Brake it in easy
Great saw for milling and big removals. Just brake it in easy. I ran about 1 to three tanks at 1/2 power. After that, the saw ran for two days milling redwood logs. One thing I would recommend is to start the saw without using the decompression button(specifically when it warm) Starts easy, first pool. When I put the bar oil in for the first time it leaked a bit over night. However the next day the gasket sealed up and I also made sure the bolts were nice and tight. Overall no issues with the saw at all. I ran 42 inch bar on it.plenty of power. Just make sure your chain is sharp. So far happy with the saw. Worth the money for sure.

Impossible to start
Brand New out of the box and it took 3 days to finally get it to start. Once it started, it ran decently. I didn't like the sound but it seemed super sensitive to any bit of adjustment, so I left it where it started because it comes setup for running for the first three tanks of fuel. Annoying popping sound aside, it ran good and it cut like a dream, to be honest... made my other saws look like junk, including my Rancher. However, I spent the entire next day trying to start the saw on it's second tank of fuel with no success. The first pull was the only pull that sounded like it would start with the next pull; it never did. Brand New Bosch "Start" spark plug came in it but there's nothing in the User's Manual about the proper spark plug gap. Definitely getting a charge to the spark plug and I've repeatedly gone through the steps for a "wet" plug/flooded combustion chamber, but still will not crank. As wonderful as the saw was the one time it did run, I still cannot give it more than a single star. All of the hours and sweat lost trying to get the saw started completely negates how well it cuts big timber. If I can figure out the issue, then I'll update my rating and provide what I've learned.

Affordability and relative performance.
As a former shop instructor Iโve had the privilege of seeing all manner of material removing tools cross my path. The saw arrived well packaged and assembly was surprisingly easy. A neighbor had recently taken down some old oaks so I asked for the large trunk sections with the idea of cutting some slabs with this 43โ beast. Itโs not a lightweight saw but once the cut was started the 90 degree position handle feature allowed me a very manageable fairly strait cut along the 8 foot trunk section. During the 40 minute assemble and test run it met all my metrics for a quality built and inspected machine without any glaring exceptions. IOW everything went together and nothing gave me the impression that it wouldnโt last long under usual private estate use. Iโll be experimenting with the tooth angles a bit when resharpening but the existing factory chain angles are already optimally set towards a balance of loading the engine without it getting caught in the cut (happened a few times in the slabbing operation) and needing to be freed up. Use the wedges and keep it oiled with proper bar oil and Iโd wager youโll prosper. In short, a worthy saw at an affordable price.

A Beast!
This chainsaw is huge! I love it! Started just fine & runs good. Cuts like I beast! Unstoppable. Perfect for big timber. Takes some strength to handle it. 2026 Update: Like the chainsaw but the chain kept falling off. Took apart and found the chain drive hub on the clutch drum can slide sideways of the bar and misalign. I added shims to center the chain drive hub with the bar and works fine now. Like the rugged build and power. This beast will make a man out of you no matter who you are.

Better than I thought
I read a lot of reviews prior to buying. I purchased this saw in Oct 2022. I did a review on the Garwinner 20โ 62cc saw (love that saw too). There is a learning curve with this saw. 1. Donโt pull the throttle before it starts. 2. Pull the choke fully out and pull until you get a pop. 3. Push choke half way in and it should fire right up. You still need to hold down the decompression valve and etc. as the directions state. I have some flooding issues at first, hence is why I wrote do not pull the throttle while starting of before trying to start. I love the full chisel chain that it comes with. I use it to plank out large logs. I have fell one tree and bucked it. It is a heavy saw compare to your 20โ saws. Roughly 30 lbs. It has been great for me. Iโm an average size man and can start it fairly easy. The saw sat over the winter and fired up on the fourth pull. The initial pull on full choke, second pull on full choke and got the pop, move to half choke and turned over and stalled, and no choke with start up two days ago. I highly suggest hearing protection, the muffler is wide open and is extremely loud. I think itโs 105-115 dB. I will be using it a lot more this year and will do another review with an update maybe around autumn or so. This saw needs a check on the bar oil before refueling. I hope this helps you out.

Great value
It's a beast!! Works awsome!! Had an oak tree fall with a 48 inch base cut it right up. Buy an extra chain, make sure it's the right one , first one I bought was wrong. Pros. Plenty of power, great price easy to start. Cons heavy... heavy... hard to hit off switch while wearing gloves but now I pull the choke to kill it. When you start it full of Choke pull a cord once it wants to start turn the truck off then it starts immediately I watched a the video, this was a great help.

Piston broke
This saw worked great right away. I did not have a tachometer so I presumed the carb settings would be ok. After about 2.5 hours of run time (three tanks of fuel) I adjusted the H on the carb per the manual. Had trouble getting it started after that. The string broke a few times.... Then it seized. I took it apart and found that a small part of the piston had broken off and was jammed in the cylinder. I'm waiting on a new piston and a tachometer to make sure I've got everything tuned up before running it again. I don't know if engine was just running too hard or if the piston is a cheap piece of "bleep." I had bought the saw to mill some logs. When this broke I lost about two days worth of work. Mean face. However, I was certainly happy with the price and the performance seemed to be good before the issues started. I recommend that you have a tachometer and make sure this thing is adjusted correctly before you really put it to work. And after reading the other reviews, I'm being optimistic that I'll get a good performance from it from now on.

Solid chainsaw
Seems like a solid saw, have to tune the idle but for the rest it came fully assembled and I just had to put the bar on. Has an insane ammount of torque.

Great saw! Bar not so much.
This saw is a beast! I mean its super heavy but man is it torqy! I use it for milling logs and a 20" log is nothin for it! I think the bars are a bit soft and i blew out the nose sprocket in less than 3 hours, luckily there is an oregon replacement you can get, simple fix! Starts right up, zero issues! I like it so much i just ordered a neo-tec 872!
