WHY?
Did not come with attachment hardware. Had to order separately for $20,(ridiculous) this unit should come with a SQUARE NUT & BOLT with this product ( NOT SOLD SEPARATELY)!!!

Super sturdy!
This is the best and worth the money! Don’t forget to order the correct clamp block for your particular lathe rail gap!

Great quality
Worked like it’s suppose to do, but had to make the plate that holds it to the lathe

Four Stars
Nice steadybrest but only for bowls not for hollow form based. Heavy duty here.

Confidence in a Box!
I am fairly new to turning, but enjoy segmented vessels and hollowing. Too many times, turning at the top has caused vibration and resulted in a broken vessel rolling across my shop. No more! I just got this tonight and tried it out. What a difference! The turning is rock solid.Of course this is made with typical Oneway quality; it is a hefty device. My only complaint is that all the adjustments are operated with nuts (i.e., tools are required.). This isn't the biggest problem, but I've replaced two of the three nuts with knobs from a jig-building kit. The third one (which operates the clamping block) will require a different solution simply due to its size.

Use it regularly
I have a Jet 12x21 and use the bowl steady regularly when I turn bowls and other round things. It works to keep the item steadier on the lathe, thus reducing vibration a lot. I would recommend this.
