Prescription Strength Clinical Antiperspirant Roll-On, 1.2 oz

This product really delivers on what’s promised on the package — it genuinely keeps you from sweating and helps eliminate odor. It keeps me completely dry all day long, and the protection easily lasts through a full 24 hours without needing to reapply. It goes on smoothly and feels comfortable on the skin, with no sticky or greasy residue afterward — it dries clear and doesn’t stain clothing. I’ve used it under different conditions (workouts, hot weather, regular daily wear) and it holds up well across all of them. One important tip: don’t apply it on the same day you’ve shaved the area, since it will sting quite a bit on freshly shaved skin. Apart from that, it works great and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Let me tell you one thing about this product—IT WORKS!!!! After trying literally everything under the sun from deodorants to so-called “clinical strength” anti-perspirants I literally could not find a single one that actually STOPS the sweating. With summer approaching I was desperate to find something to keep my embarrassing pit stains at bay. I literally would buy clothes based on whether or not they were loose enough on my arm pits to allow for enough ventilation to help avoid the sweat stains. I would keep my deodorant in my purse so I could duck off into the bathroom, wipe my armpits and reapply while I was away from home. It was a constant worry and source of stress and embarrassment for me. But since finding Certain Dri, All of that is a thing of the past!! I wear whatever I want now without any regard to how tight it is under my arms. I have had literally zero pit stains since using this product and it works the next day. I think I sweat more than the average person so if it works for me, you can trust it will work for you. A few caveats… Yes, it does itch. All the reviews on here that mention skin irritation—100% true. This is probably not for people with sensitive skin. My skin is not super sensitive and the itching is pretty noticeable. I cannot imagine how it is for people with sensitive skin. But for me and perhaps some of them, the effectiveness of this product is more than worth it to deal with the skin irritation. ALSO, yes, you do need to use it exactly as the directions say. Unfortunately if you forget to apply it, it’s not like a regular antiperspirant where you can just slap it on right before you leave the house. Too late. Apply it at night before bed. Do NOT apply it right after showering, shaving or anything like that. Use common sense. Anything pore-opening or skin irritating I would not recommend applying right after that. I wax my underarms. I don’t even apply it on the same day as that. So it is a bit annoying in the sense that you do need to kind of think about when to apply or reapply it. Especially with me being a night time showerer I have to make sure I shower early enough on days where I need to reapply so I can wait at least an hour after my shower before applying. That being said, you don’t need to apply it every night. I apply every 2-3 days. And you don’t need to put a lot. I do gentle dabs of the roller to apply as little as possible to fully coat the underarm area and that’s it. And even with that I get some itching the next day and sometimes on the following days. But for me it’s far worth it to finally not have to worry about my underarm sweat. In summary—this product really works it has done absolute wonders for me and my confidence and wardrobe choices. But yes, it does take a little thought and scheduling to use it and it does cause skin irritation. But if it’s worth it to you, I would highly recommend trying it. And for the price, you have very little to lose.

I have used this product for years - so long that I have begun to forget just how sweaty I used to be. I'm a small person, and don't live in a hot climate, so my sweating was more of the "nerves and/or anxiety" variety, which meant that I just had damp armpits all the time, and it felt gross. My wardrobe was built around the need to either absorb or hide my pit sweat, and no amount of antiperspirant seemed to help. Enter CertainDri. When I began using it, I had some problems with skin irritation, but it did curb my sweatiness, so I was willing to suffer. One morning, however, I woke up with awful chemical burns that took over a week to heal to the point where they were no longer oozing, it was bad bad bad. When I started using it, I followed the directions on the package, which said to apply it to clean skin at night before bedtime, and it turns out that is not the ideal time for everyone. What the directions should say is that you should apply it whenever you tend to sweat the least, because you want the product to DRY on your skin. I overheat at night while I sleep, so the product was just held under my arms, against my body, unable to evaporate, as I continued to sweat, which just irritated the heck out of my skin. What I do now is to apply is right after my morning shower, leave it on as I do my morning routine (about 15 minutes), then blot the excess off with some tissue, making sure my pits are dry before I put my shirt on. I do this 2x a week and my armpits do not sweat. At all. I use a light swipe of scented deodorant on the non-CertainDri days, mostly just for the fresh scent, and only buy a stick of deodorant like once a year, because I go through it so slowly. So to summarize, 1) It can be harsh if you use too much or have very sensitive skin. 2) you can minimize the irritation by keeping it as dry as possible while it is on your skin. 3) you might have to try and fail a few times to find the frequency that is right for you.

I have had awful hyperhydrosis for my armpits for years. Overall this product works as far as keeping me pretty dry and is very easy to use and apply. However, it gave me a really bad rash within a week and I wasn't able to keep it going even after spacing a day in between applications to try and give my skin a break. I ended up stopping this and then trying the version of this product by Sweat Block and I am able to use that without it giving me skin issues. It may be slightly less effective, but not by much and I can use it every day. So, if this is effective for you but causes rash issues, try the sweat block version and see if it works better for you. Otherwise, this is a great product if your skin takes it well. It does what it advertises, so I gave it four stars. It would have been five if there wasn't a skin reaction.

Okay so I have never written a review before but I want to leave my opinion on this; i've tried a bunch of different dove deodorants, i've tried the hello brand. i've tried antiperspirant ones, i have tried ones with no aluminum, etc... i have always struggled with my armpits and ONLY my armpits being sweaty. as a woman in her 20's, you can imagine how embarrassing it is. I was scared to wear my nice tops and let alone outside. Even if I sit in my room doing nothing, my armpits sweat. If I go outside? No matter how little or a lot I put, I would sweat and get stains on my shirts. After a ton of looking around I had this one wishlisted for awhile but never bought it until about two weeks ago... I waited a bit to give opinions as well. But today sealed the deal for me. I went outside for multiple hours through rainy weather that then turned hot and while I sweat elsewhere; i did not sweat a single time in my armpits. I wasn't afraid to put on a nicer shirt today, I even went to the fitting room and freely tried on shirts without being worried or embarrassed my armpits would ruin them. This really works! JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! A lot of the bad reviews are from people who put this immediately after a shower or shaving. I followed the directions and did not experience any harsh burning, itching, or bruising. At some point my armpit did burn slightly- I won't lie. That is because I did three swipes. It wasn't a painful burn and went away after about a day. This week I went with two swipes and I think it depends on your needs and how much you sweat- but two was perfect for me. No irritation, no burns, no darkening, and I was able to go out and be sweat free. My last thing I'll say is that I see other reviews that say they put other deodorant on top as this one doesn't smell like anything. I would recommend that too. The first week I was too afraid to mix and match. The first few days I didn't sweat and had no smell- fine by me. But by the end of the week it was beginning to smell and sweat again. This week, after it was dry, I decided on two swipes of the usual dove one I was using and it's worked for me. Certain dri keeps me from sweating, dove has kept me smelling nice. For the price, I can't complain. Again, I've tried $10+ deodorants, I've tried cheap ones, brand name, random drug store ones... I will never go back after using this one. If you are like me and scared to wear your nicer clothes and excessively sweat, try this out. Just again, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. This is NOT meant to be put on right after a shower like other ones. This can be your best friend if you follow instructions and use it lightly once a week. I'm looking forward to see how it holds up for me during the summer but so far, it's worked wonders and my confidence is going up being able to wear all the nice blouses and shirts I've been holding onto for this day where I found a deodorant that contained my sweat!

I first tried this in January of 2023. At that time the aluminum chloride was 12%. I used it every night and it worked flawlessly. Fast forward 2 years and they changed the concentration to 15%. I put it on every other night because when I do it daily, it would itch like crazy throughout the day and then burn after itching. And then of course it would be irritated and red and then I would have to miss a night of putting it on. Because I can't do it every night, I do sweat. I don't sweat as bad, but it is enough to bring on body odor. And for that, I have to use a separate deodorant (Yes, an actual deodorant without antiperspirant). All in all, the higher concentration might not work for everyone. Just beware it is an antiperspirant, NOT a deodorant. For me, it works well enough to keep using, despite the issues.

This product was a lifesaver. Like many others, I had a problem with sweating solely under my arms. I'm 19 years old, and have had this problem since I was about 15. Even when it was 30 degrees outside and all I had on was a windbreaker jacket (and I would be freezing on my walk to class), I would still have sweat stains after just 30 minutes after my shower when I took off my jacket. They weren't huge sweat stains, but they were definitely noticeable and extremely uncomfortable. I found myself going to the bathroom several times throughout the day and putting my shirt under the hand-dryer in order to dry the sweat stains. This happened no matter what. I even started wearing dry-fit athletic shirts in order to have the sweat dry faster when I didn't have access to a hand-dryer. This was just an uncomfortable when I sweat, if not more. I also applied deodorant several times a day because I was worried I would smell. The issue with my sweating was that when it got through my shirt, because my shirt didn't have deodorant on it, my underarms themselves didn't smell, but my shirt did. This was when I started putting deodorant on my shirt and sometimes staining it, so it was a vicious cycle. AND THEN I FOUND THIS PRODUCT, which saved my life. I can't tell you how happy this product has made me. I don't sweat at ALL anymore (unless of course I workout, which makes complete sense). I have no more sweat stains, no more discomfort, and no more smell. How I use this product: Because I tend to sweat a lot, I apply this product twice a day, though some people could most definitely get away with only applying it once every day or maybe even once every two days. I apply this roll-on antiperspirant twice a day: once after I shower in the morning, and once before I go to sleep. I've noticed that I'm protected all throughout the day, so even with my sweat, I may be able to get away with just once a day. I just got this product a few days ago, and it immediately started working. Note: just make sure after you shower, wait about 5 minutes for your body to dry a little bit, and then apply it. Then wait another 5 minutes for the deodorant to dry before you put on a shirt so it doesn't stain the shirt. Same thing goes for when you want to go to sleep. Just apply it, then wait about 5-10 minutes before you climb into bed. Notes about deodorant: I haven't had an issue with applying the antiperspirant first, and then the deodorant. I just apply a little bit of deodorant so that if I do sweat a little bit, it doesn't smell. The antiperspirant is odorless, so I like to feel fresh with the deodorant. However, before I had the antiperspirant I tended to apply several swipes of the deodorant - now I only apply 1 gentle swipe just so the antiperspirant doesn't rub off. So far it hasn't at all changed the effects of the antiperspirant. Small side effect: for the most part, my day-to-day routine hasn't changed at all, as well as how I feel during the day. The only very small side effect is very, very slight itchiness when I have the antiperspirant applied. It's very small, and I often don't even notice it. This may be as a result of me shaving my underarms, but nonetheless it still does happen sometimes. Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic product that is very well worth the money. It's worth every single penny spent.

If you have sweat problems, this is the anti perspirant för you... Honest.. nothing best this product. Its so strong that if you overdose your armpits they will get irritated skin so follow the instructions and you will be fine. Myself, I tried all deodorants/anti-perspirant in shops and this one is the only one that works.

Lo utilizzo, per adesso, solo per le ascelle e devo dire che è un prodotto eccezionale, il migliore che abbia mai usato. Ho seguito le indicazioni mettendolo la sera e, il giorno dopo con il caldo afoso, le ascelle erano completamente asciutte. Ho intenzione di utilizzarlo anche per il corpo e sicuramente lo ricomprerò. Consigliatissimo
