Do not waste your time with chemicals or heat guns -- Use this eraser!
I bought this eraser to remove approximately 50' of 2" boot striping on our boat. This design works great! It does breakup rather quickly, so I did have to use two erasers for the entire job, meaning I got about 25' per eraser - so factor that in when you are deciding how many to order. I have also used the "solid" version and I feel this "staggered" version works much more efficiently. The solid version is good for tighter spaces.Lastly, be aware you will have A LOT of eraser dust flying around - so plan accordingly with eye protection, a mask, and long sleeves.Overall, one of the easiest products I've ever used on the boat.

Wish I knew about this sooner
I have a car that I drive infrequently that used to have stripes on the side. A while back, I decided to remove the stripes and I spent hours peeling by hand, carefully using a razor, and spraying 3m adhesive remover(2 cans at ~$12 a pop). I probably spent 4 or 5 hours over 2 days.Well, i got the stripes off, but I soon realize that a lot of adhesive was still left, which quickly picked up dust, AND i also had gummed up adhesive that just looked like dirt on the side of the car.Recently I learned about this eraser wheel and figured I'd try it out. I honestly expected it to require a lot more work to make a dent in the leftover adhesive, but boy was I wrong. This thing is like magic.. the leftover adhesive came off with no effort at all, and I was able to clean up the whole car in about 30 minutes. If I had known about these before I removed the stripes, I could have done the whole job in one shot and less than an hour beginning to end.

Works well for it intended purpose. I'll keep it for those reason.
Worked well. But I found that a hard plastic razor with some tar/sap & adhesive remover spray worked more efficient for my very large and hard reflective strip that went across the lower half of my trucks tailgate from the previous owner. This Eraser wheel would work fine with any normal decal/vinyl and adhesive left over. But would remove a heavy duty reflective safety strip. Those things are tough and think. And very brittle, only took a couple tiny peices off. Wasnt able to get underneath... wasnt expecting it to chew through the thing to get down to the adhesive LMAO... wasnt ganna happen.

Buy this one!
Buy this one! It works perfectly. Put your drill on the low setting and dont hold still. Move back and forth semi-slowly paying close attention so you dont stop and stay still and you'll do fine. The amount of pressure depends upon what you are removing. I used it to remove the side door bumpers on my 02 f250. Worked exactly as expected. Did not damage.my paint. The backing for those is like double sided tape, about 1/16" thick. I used medium pressure again not too slowly as to burn the paint and it worked flawlessly.

Removed my large boat decals with ease
I have a 16 foot boat with extensive large decals on it, but they were all scratched and damaged from a dock. I used your product and it took off the decal as well as the adhesive under the decal. I worked from the edge into the center and it came off quickly. The paint under the decal was not damaged by your product and still looks great. It did wear down slowly as it took off the decals and left some particles that were easily swept up.

That being said it was a good value when I purchased it and it did what ...
I have never used an eraser wheel before so I have nothing to compare this to. That being said it was a good value when I purchased it and it did what I wanted it to. It wears down pretty quickly but I was able to remove the logos and pin striping on my entire Jeep Cherokee as well as some stickers on the rear hatch and some adhesive on the roof panel and think I could do a few more vehicles before I got to the replacement stripe on the wheel. It seems to do better at slower speeds than higher. You are trying to rub the decals off not burn them. Good luck!

A tip to go with it.
The reflexive flames on my truck was 20 years old and really hard to get off. So I sprayed the decals with Goo Gone decal removal and let it set twenty-four hours. Then I proceeded to use the wheel and a BIG difference with the decal coming off.
