Will save you a trip to the dentist!
If you have a tooth (like I did) that is just a little higher than the others, these will work perfectly. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. They are so easy and work at the perfect speed so you can't over file but still see results immediately. I only wish I took before pictures of my stubborn tooth. I asked my dentist to file this one crappy tooth a couple times but it never matched the others and just stuck out. These dental strips just saved me a fortune by doing the job at home! And FYI, I just looked at the bad reviews, one says it doesn't fit in between the teeth, others say it's too thin. Which is it? It's all BS. Yes, they are thin but they have to be in order to be pliable enough to file and also to fit in between the teeth , which they do perfectly. For the first time in my adult life, I don't dread flossing my bottom teeth! I love them. If you have one crooked tooth, this pack will be fine. If you have a lot of teeth to file, I'd buy a couple packs. Awesome product!

Great for reducing tight contacts... as advertised!
Terrifically thin, flexible strips for easing the pain of too tight contacts. I snipped one in half length-wise to make it not as wide, and sanded the contact until I could eat on those molars again. It's really a shame that the ding dongs are giving these strips a bad review because they tried to use them to polish off points and sharp edges on teeth. These strips aren't designed for that, so the bad review should be to the purchaser for trying to use the wrong tool for the job!Used correctly, these strips are perfect.

Good but takes a little time because they are so fine.
I cut mine in half for easier use. It was easier to hold on both ends that way. If you are not careful they can cut your gums if you go up that high. I would recommend but I ordered two packs because I needed to do a lot of filing. Would buy thicker one next time but starting out you should buy this one to be safe.

Three Stars
Not very sharp, did not contour well and cut my gums.

Pretty good!!
If you're a used to having dental issues like braces and retainer then you're familiar with trying to maneuver things in your mouth between your teeth, lol but in this instance I had a filling that extended too close to the next tooth and was causing pain. These files worked tremendously well filing between the teeth as if you were using floss and it just took off just a millimeter or so where and was enough to reduce the tension between the 2 teeth and prevented me from going back to the dentist for something they thought I had which was not the case .It was better to use the Fine file Versus having something that would take off more surface. Better to file a couple of times and then to take off too much surface .

not for filing teeth
don't know what these are for but not for filing a chipped tooth at all. Just cut a nail file and use that. Cheaper and works much better

Relieved my pain from caps with overly-tight "contacts" - they work! The "fine" grit is safer.
They work! The strips are very, very thin, very flexible, and have a smooth space in the middle where you slip the strip between two teeth. Grip each side of the strip like you would dental floss. The action is similar to a nail file. Just move the strip back and forth a dozen or so times, past the smooth part, using the part that has the grit. The grit is very fine, which means it's not taking off a whole lot, and that's important. If you take off too much, you can't put it back! You may have to do it a number of times to get the space needed between teeth. In my case, the dentist is obsessed with "very tight contacts" and made them way too tight so that they were pushing on the adjacent teeth, crowding them, and causing extreme pain. I ordered some of these strips and they came the next day. They are easy to use. The fine grit is the safest to use.

It works!! Made for minor changes
I got a crown put in, but the fit was so tight that my teeth were over crowding and not only was the pain unbearable, my teeth were starting to become crooked!! My dentist said this is normal and the pain will “go away” and that this is for good “contact.” The pain did not go away and my teeth were moving and shifting to accommodate the lack of space. I couldn’t take it anymore. Just like filing your nail or sanding down a surface by going back and forth while applying pressure, I sanded down the teeth surrounding the crown to relieve myself of the excruciating pain. It took a long time because these are the very smooth strips. If you need to make larger adjustments, I recommend buying a rougher strip. It took a long time with applying a lot of pressure on the tooth I needed to sand, but I did it with the smoothest strip on purpose to ensure I did not make any mistakes especially since it was my first time doing this. You can sand teeth but you can’t put it back if you over do it.. these were life savers and I love em. It really helped me in a time of need. I even made some aesthetic adjustments as well. I smoothed some edges of my front teeth and it made a huge difference in my smile for the better. If you need some minor adjustments or is thinking of making adjustment using this product for the first time, I highly recommend these. Any bigger changes needed or if you have any experience in using these kinds of strips, I recommend getting a rougher set. The product was very clean and well sealed as well. I highly recommend!
