Good watch for the money
I have worn a Luminox Navy seal watch for over 20 years. Yes, the glow does eventually dim and it needs to be replaced. The two things that always bothered me about the Luminox.1. Plastic case2. No screw down crown (It never leaked however)I decided to give this Smith & Wesson a try. I really like the Tritium watches because they are so good in the dark.The two watches could be clones in size and shape, both come with a Velcro cloth band and the same features. Glow very bright on both. Pros for S&W1. The S&W is cheaper2. The S&W has all the letters marked on the rotating bezel, Luminox has ticks for the 5,15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 positions.3. S&W has a screw down crown.Pros for Luminox1. The LumInox has a tritium tube marking the 12 o" clock on the rotating bezel the S&W has a regular light dependent glow phosphor.2. The Luminox has a tritium tube on the second hand., S&W a phosphor.3. Luminox movement made in Switzerland vs Taiwan for the S&W.4. S&W is heavier since it has a steel case. (not sure if that's bad or not)So far the S&W keeps perfect time and the metal case is more scratch resistant than the Luminox. The bands wear is similar to the Luminox and IME needs changing annually.

Stopped working after less than 3 months.
(IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD)Update 2: The watch is manufactured and sold by Campco with S&W brand approval. S&W however have nothing to do with the watch, it's warranty, or service and unlike S&W Campco's service is quite poor. After awaiting a response after being told to do so via a telephone call to them, I was given the number when I contacted S&W, I was told to send an E-Mail; I did. More than a week and nothing finally I was contacted and referred to the Warranty Card a small portion of the Watches Manual; I was given an address and an RMA number and told to mail the watch to them (At my cost) and to also include $10 in a money order to pay for the return shipping. So I'm stuck paying almost $20 for a pei e of junk that didn't last 3 month. The watch just stopped working. It was working fine then I had to reset the date upon a month changeover to the right date and when I screwed the stem back in the watch no longer worked. It is utterly unexceptable that a company can't correct a manufacturers defect at their cost. I wish it was within the return window for Amazon; I'd just return the watch. This product is cheap, as is the customer service, it can't hold a candle compared to my Luminox. Lesson learned I'll be sticking with Luminox for my tritium watches and regardless of the type I will never be buying a S&W watch or possibly even a product again. I trust S&W and for them to put their brand on such an inferior product is disgraceful.UPDATE 1: I've now had the watch for less than 3 months and it has stopped working. I though it may have been the battery but then I realized the watch would keep time, be it slow, until the stem was tightened, at which point the watch would stop. I've attempted to contact S&W via their online feature without success. I'll provide an additional update after I make contact with them, if I can, and see how their service is.(Original Review)This watch works great. I like this more than my Luminox; while the tritium vials are smaller on the S&W they seem crisper.The only problems I have with this watch are no tritium in/on the bezel (@0) and the second hand. Both have a photosensitive coating which can be charged with direct light; they both quickly get dim after removing the direct light. This makes the settable bezel almost useless for deeper dives.

Flooded in a swimming pool
I'm a professional scuba diving instructor and bought this to wear while teaching classes in pools and shallow water. I own and use several depth-rated chronographs that are more expensive (so yes, I know how to use the screw-down stem and take care of it). It's marketed as suitable for the rigors of scuba diving and rated to 660 feet, so I thought this would be a rugged and relatively inexpensive watch that I could use to preserve my other ones.I've had it about a week, and it flooded after an hour in a 10 foot pool (so it wasn't operator error).Aside from that... the case and bezel are solid and seemed rugged, but the profile of the glass protrudes slightly above the rim of the bezel - which means when you hit it against something, you're just as likely to impact the glass as you are the bezel or case. Seems to me that this would make it more prone to damage from routine use as a "rugged" sports watch.

unbelievable leaky POS
i've owned hundreds of watches of every sort, but this a first. i bought this watch to swim in as it is rated as a 200 meter water resistant watch and the inside of the crystal is fogged after the first time in the pool. my 10 dollar casio that is minimally water resistant has been in both the pool and the ocean many times without issue. this is a pretty disgraceful product. it was very cheap for its spec, so i took a chance that it would work out. nope!btw, it's a wonder a company like smith & wesson would tarnish itself by having their name put on something like this

Nice watch
I bought this watch to replace one that quit and have been happy with the fit and feel of the watch. I like the non-plastic band because they always crack in the cold, and the Tritium display makes it easy to see in the field. The only quirk is the time jumps a minute or 2 when you screw down the crown lock.

Watch
This my first H3 watch and I like it. There is only a one year warranty so when I need new hands, I will have to purchase them. I wonder how much replacement hands are.

Good looking watch +++
Great timekeeper. I gained about 1 minute in a year. The Tritium markers are very bright and clear. I eventually put a different band on mine. Update 4/2017 only 2 years old the battery has already died, which is not acceptable.

Great for the 10 months it actually worked.
This watch started out great. Bright tritium vials in the right places, kept fairly accurate time(within a few seconds a month), water tight and fairly robust. At the 10 month mark, it quit without warning. I replaced the battery, no change. After reading reviews here, I'm finding this is a fairly common occurrence. Once burned, twice warned.
