great for charging different types of Lithium-ion batteries
I have been wanting a charger like this mainly for 18650 batteries, although I now also have a flashlight using a 26650 battery. Using this charger to charge more than one battery at a time is so much more convenient than having to charge them individually. The box for this charger indicates it is for Lithium-ion batteries, although the product description suggests it can be used to NiMH and NiCad batteries, too, about which I am very skeptical. Most battery chargers are pretty specific to the type of battery. This charger has the added ability to charge AA and AAA Lithium-ion batteries.Absolutely no instructions came with this charger, not even printed on the box, which is why I would not try it for anything other than Lithium-ion batteries. It has a port on top for a micro-USB cable (a short one is included) for power. The one I use for my Kindle works just fine. There is a button on the face of the charger that enables you to change the charging rate from 250 mA to 500 mA, 1000 mA, or 2000 mA. There are LED indicators to tell you which charging rate is selected. There are also lighted indicators to tell when the unit is charging and when charging is complete.I tested it out by charging a couple of 18650 batteries and a 26650 battery. Each channel of the charger functions independently, so you do not have to pair batteries like older chargers. This is a real plus and makes it convenient to charge 1-4 batteries at a time of different type.I really like this charger, and I'm glad I ordered it. For my purposes, it is perfect. I only docked it a star due to the absence of any user documentation.

Basic charger. Works fine with my 18650s
This charger works perfectly fine for charging up my small batch of Li-Ion 18650s that I have lying around the house. I haven't tried it with any other battery type of size yet. The charging current selection works find so you can choose form 4 charging speeds. The battery level indicator also did a fine job of indicating the approximate charge progress of each battery while charging. Overall, I have no complaints about the functionality of the charger. My only complaint about this charger is that for the price I think you could a better charger with slightly more functionality (ex. digital display with charge level %). So I would say this charger would be a good value at <$20. Otherwise, spend just a few bucks more and get more functionality from your charger.

Very convenient.
This is the first charger I have had that would charge odd quantities of batteries. Most will only charge 2 or 4 batteries and a lot of products take 3 batteries. Not a good match. This charger works great for any quantity of batteries. It does seem like the charging bay on the far right side charges a little slower for some reason. That battery is always the last one to complete charging. Also there were no instructions included in the package. They would help in knowing what types of batteries can be charged and at what amperage to set it on. I think with proper instructions this would be a great charger.

A good battery charger, if you know what you are doing!
My car battery died. Newish car (2017). Had I left the lights on, was the alternator dying, was the battery bad?I got this to charge the battery, and help me work out what was going on. It offers all sorts of settings to manage your battery, but you need to know your battery. What type of battery do I have? Maybe your average car mechanic would know. Me? No idea. If I switch the charger to the wrong type, I can damage my battery. I do not want to damage my battery! In the end I got a Craftsman charger that I was able to connect and press a button and it did the rest for me.Based on the manuals, and the settings options this is an excellent charger, if you can answer the questions needed to use it.

Battery recharging
This battery recharger works great. I like the LED indicator light so I know exactly when the batteries are full and ready to go. i’m not really the biggest fan of the spring loaded design to hold the batteries in place, but it does work alright. It’s not the highest quality battery charger I’ve had, but it works fine.

Charges reliably and quickly without overheating the cells
I use 18650 batteries for LoRa and other projects where I'll leave the unit installed for a while without going back to it, so it's critical that I'm able to get a consistent charge so I can estimate how long it'll run before I need to swap out the battery with a fresh one. I have five or six chargers like this one and this is the cheapest of them, but outperforms several of my "nicer" ones. The plastic doesn't feel exceptional - it's a little flimsy but the spring mechanism for holding the batteries in place and the information displayed are more than adequate. I'm pretty easy on my equipment, so I think this will last for a long time (it's been going strong for 2 months now).I do wish it felt a little more substantial, but I'll recommend this product with the caveat that if it breaks I'll update the review. 4/5 recommend 5/5 for cost and usefulness.
