As a kid my neighbors had one that we would all crowd around to make sandwich-pizza’s. When I saw this I had to buy it to recreate those fun memories with my kids. Bread, pizza sauce, cheese and a few pepperonis and you are set! What I’ve made the most with it as an adult is peanut butter and banana sandwiches. My daughter like strawberry and Nutella sandwiches. My son is a basic grilled cheese sandwich. My husband will throw the whole kitchen sink in there! The machine is really easy to use and clean up is a breeze which makes it perfect for the kids to use. I like that it is compact so storage is no an issue. I have a panini press as well so if you are wondering which of the two to get, here is my take on the difference. The panini press is just that, a press. It does heat the sandwich but ultimately it just presses it all in while toasting the bread. This sandwich maker creates triangle pockets within the sandwich stuffing inside similar to a pizza pocket. They are both awesome machines, just different.
