These saved my roof. Probably one of the worst winters in ten years. Ice dams were huge. I am convinced we would have lost part of the roof without this product

Did absolutely nothing. I bought two boxes of these. They arrived in a soaking wet box and in a bag filled with fluid. I placed them on the roof over the gutters as instructed and poured the liquid from the bag on them. I left all four of them on the roof for three days and saw no improvement to my ice dams. This was a complete rip off and either this product is counterfeit or the whole thing is a scam all together - awful.

Got rid of the ice dam issue I was having and my roof stopped leaking now that it is gone. They were easy to place and easy to remove. I would recommend these.

It hasn't snowed yet to see if it is truly effective.

The idea is great. They just don't execute. I put 4 around a roof valley. Not only did they not melt through the ice but they broke apart and froze to my roof. I had to chisel them to get them out because they were now only adding to my ice dam. I will never buy these again.

Doesn't help much. Messy. Slides off the roof to easily. Not worth the price.

I would have given this a 5 star except the price is too high. You can make this on your own by taking a pair of panty house, cutting the legs in half by the crotch and filling them with your own chemicals that don't require gloves. Also.... they don't last very long...not after the winter we have been having here north of Boston. Also roof pellets are a lot cheaper and you can do the same with the panty hose. Too pricey and toxic but after removing all the snow and ice dams on the flat roof and put them down they did the trick but like I said.... they don't last long. And you can DIY for much less.
