Stuck the battery in…...and nothing. The product did not work. Tried to put the 9V cable in and the pin bent. The quality of the clock is very poor; especially for the price you pay. Very cheaply made. I’m sure it goes off like a kicker when it works but for some, it doesn’t even work out of the box. Bad quality.

Very loud, definitely will wake up an extremely heavy sleeper, but a struggle to set. If you wake up at the same time every day, you can't go wrong with this clock, but if you have to wake up at varying times, setting this clock is a nightmare. Time only counts up, you cannot go backwards if you go beyond the time you want - you have to loop around 24 hours to get back. While setting the alarm, if the alarm is armed, the alarm will go off while setting it - this is a design oversight. Overall, this is a strong recommendation for heavy sleepers who get up at the same time every day.

These is the most powerful bed shaking creature! It will wake you! It might take a couple of minutes to wake you in dead sleep but you will wake up. And I can’t hear anything without my hearing aids. You can select the shaker alone, the sound alone, or both. The sound is horrible, my late husband hated it as it jerked him awake and he had PTSD. It’s a high pitched sound with a low rumble to it. Mine lasted several years, but after it kept falling off the shelf, it broke, this a new one. I like the pink!

It’s loud, but still not loud enough for me. You have to go all the way around just to set it.

The reviews I read before purchasing this thing were on point. It is LOUD. I got it hoping that between the noise and shaking, I would actually not sleep through it. I haven’t even needed the earthquake-simulating attachment. I don’t know what it is about this sound (I have had many other loud alarms), but there is something about this one that makes my heart start beating so fast, I can’t go back to sleep even if I hit snooze. The adrenaline is going from the get go once that sound hits my brain. Which is what I wanted. I’m hoping I don’t eventually become accustomed to it. But so far there doesn’t seem to be any sign of that happening. I loved that you can choose the duration of the snooze and being able to set two alarms that can both be turned on or one or the other is handy for me to use one during the week and the other during the weekend. The instructions said to put the vibrating attachment between the box springs and mattress but I have a platform bed and my mattress is directly on wood slats. So I wasn’t sure if it would work with that or not, but since I haven’t needed it yet anyway, I’m not too worried. I also love the hot pink/magenta-ish color I chose. If you’re wanting something to wake you up, this will do it. And it’s very easy to program. The instructions were thorough, yet simple.
