This throne is wonderful because it is made of ceramic and is not toxic like an aluminum can. We made Dr. Pepper chicken with a Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce. It’s pretty cute because once your chicken is on it, it really does look like the chicken is on the toilet, haha!

Great product with a nice sturdy base to hold up a chicken. Tempted to buy a second one for cooking whole chickens.With the wire thrones that you insert a can into, I feel do not hold up to the construction of this one. Definitely worth a purchase!

This throne makes juicy whole beer chicken, or juice chicken. Seems like a safer and better idea than using a beer can and getting all that chemical. It is dishwasher safe. I found it took alot longer to cook when the whole chicken is on the throne compared to directly on the grill.
