Seismic Audio - Richter 15 - 15" PA/DJ Raw Replacement Woofer or Speaker 500 Watts

I bought this to replace a basically no name, no frills, 15 inch woofer that I had in a speaker set that I bought awhile ago. Its basically a custom made box, and I couldn't name the speaker brand it came installed with (not labelled) its safe to say that the seismic audio Richter so far sounds leap and bounds better than the sub I had been using. I'm powering it with a Crown 402  Crown X2000 Stereo 2x450W Power Amp  amp (and older model) and also using a BBE sonic maximizer BBE 482i Sonic Maximizer  as a pre-amp, playing back Hip Hop and club songs like Disclosure Latch, "Kiesa" "Hideaway", Drake "Hold On" just for example the bass is crisp and not distorted and doesn't sound "boomy" like cheaper speaker bass can sound boomy and distorted. So so far its been great, I haven't gigged with it yet and that will be the real test with pushing the speakers through the Crown amp, the last subs couldn't take the power, but these seem like they may do well at gigs without clipping or distortion......
