Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Scrunching Gel 6 oz. (Pack of 3)

I love this product. I put the size of a dime in one palm and run my other palm under running water. Then I rub both hands together and shake off the extra gel and put my fingers through my wet hair. Then I blow it mostly dry and I am ready for the day. The gel does not make my hair stiff. It basically keeps my hair styled and flexable.

I have wavy hair that is coarse, dry, damaged, frizz prone, and protein sensitive. My hair also hates aloe, so it's especially difficult for me to find a glycerin free gel that works for me.I was using another popular glycerin/protein/aloe free gel, however it was weighing my hair down and irritating my scalp. I tried this as a last resort. I can no longer live without it.I apply it in the shower on dripping wet hair, after applying leave in and glycerin free mousse. This is the best way for me, as this stuff is thick. It distributes easier in wet hair, and despite what it says in the directions, I like to use alot of it. The cast is amazing, the hold is amazing, and the definition is amazing.Now the frizz. On a normal day, if I even *think* about stepping outside my front door my hair frizzes. I live in a humid climate and the frizz control with this is unparalleled to anything else I've tried.Heads up - when I put this in my hair it does feel odd, at first it felt almost like flash dying (which I am prone to) although not quite the same. After my hair dries it feels extremely soft, bouncy, and moisturized - so I really think it's just the way the product feels when it coats the hair. That being said, despite the odd texture I'd say definitely give it a chance and see how it goes.

This is a great hair gel with excellent hold, holds naturally curly hair in place. I can no longerfind it in stores.

Make sure hair is wet before applying . . .

I bought it for the smell. I love this brand for the shampoo and conditioner. However, it didn’t seem that it lasted on my hair. What I am saying is that in the PM my hair didn’t smell as good as it did when I put it on in the AM. Also, it didn’t hold my hair. This gel didn’t shape or form any curls on my wavy hair.

I have used this Herbal Essence product for several years and am satisfied it's good value for the cost.

I like the amount of hold on my hair! Not too much or too little!

Love the product but it’s gotten quite expensive. Not sure I’ll be ordering it again.

I have fine curly hair and this really helped them come back after years of damage from heat styling with a blow dryer and straightener. The cast is nice and light as long as you don't use too much it will crunch right off leaving nice soft curls 👌

While I like the product itself, the description said 6 units and I only received 3. As a result this was very much overpriced for what was actually received.

I've used this hair gel twice now and have had good results both times. The gel is light and very easy to work with. Not sticky, and with a very light floral fragrance. The cast is not hard. I'm on the Curly Girl method, and I suppose this gel is CG approved. Nevertheless, I'll continue using this product. Recommended!
