SR Suntour Make Your Ride More Enjoyable SP12 NCX Suspension Seatpost with Protective Cover

Sérieusement, c'est un must. Meilleur rapport qualité-prix pour ce type de suspension. Permet d'absorber toutes les petites bosses et autres désagréments de la route et ainsi rendre les trajets plus confortables (dans mon cas, journalier maison-boulot). Très facile d'installation, il faut toutefois choisir la bonne grosseur de tige. L'ajustement du ressort se fait à l'aide d'une vis en dessous (à l'intérieur de la tige) ce qui n'est pas très pratique puisqu'il faut retirer le tout pour l'ajuster. Out-of-the-box, l'ajustement semble parfait pour 170-180lbs environ (d'autres ressorts vendus séparément). Le système d'installation de la selle est vraiment fantastique et simple. Il faut aussi prévoir un espace d'environ 10cm (hauteur du mécanisme) donc si votre selle est déjà accoté au plus bas sur voter cadre, cela ne fonctionnera pas. Aussi, il faut avancer la selle au maximum sur la tige afin de compenser le mouvement arrière du mécanisme. Mais très honnêtement, cette suspension est fantastique, pourquoi s'en passer!

Instalei-o em minha Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0 IGH e o resultado foi muito bom, mesmo porque essa bike não tem atualmente qualquer amortecimento no canote (embora imagens do manual mostrem que já teve no passado). Complementei com um selim acolchoado e o resultado final foi bastante benéfico para minha coluna e o conforto em geral, ao pedalar em piso irregular (paralelepípedo, p.ex.). O canote (original) da Suntour é um produto de excelente aparência e bem projetado, com um suave funcionamento de seu mecanismo. Acredito seja durável, seguindo-se as recomendações de manutenção do fabricante. É um produto caro, mas a transformação da bike é notável. Infelizmente, vejo que o preço atual na Amazon BR (12/02/26) excede em mais de 100% o que paguei em 31/12/25. Difícil entender por que, se se fizer a compra no site Amazon US, o custo final para entrega no Brasil ficará em torno da metade daquele anunciado no site brasileiro. Aos eventuais interessados, sugiro aguardar uma oferta razoável no Brasil, ou optar pela compra na Amazon US.

I have a few bikes. Hard tail racer, full suspension MTB and an E-Bike. I have lower back issues and recently after riding my E-Bike I felt more pain than I usually would. So, I pulled the pin and fitting this suspension seat post to the E-Bike. I've done a few 50 km days riding to work and back and this seat post is a game changer. I have no pain while riding and none post riding. I'm a heavy guy, 115 kg and the stock spring has enough to keep me at 30% sag. It hasn't bottomed out once. I do know you can buy a heavier spring for this seat post and for my weight I was supposed to according to the booklet. However, that must be for extreme use. I'm commuting on paved cycle tracks.

Truly fantastic! I tried two, cheaper, models before biting the bullet on this one. I really don’t know if it’s possible to get a better seat post suspension than this Suntour. I definitely wouldn’t pay twice as much for anything else. It just can’t get that much better. Now, it does have a couple small drawbacks: it will add a few inches to your seat height if the bottom of your seat is usually resting within a couple inches of the bike frame’s seat tube. And it will move the seat back a couple inches, so you might have to move your handlebars back if possible. And if you’re over 190 lbs like me you have to get the heavier spring, which is another $30. But unless those things will not allow you to ride in a comfortable position any more, who cares? If you regularly commute on your bike this will save your ass. Those bumps you used to cringe over, they’re gone. It’s truly a totally different riding experience. I’ve never really ridden much on full suspension bikes, but I can’t imagine the end result would be significantly more comfortable that this post on a hard tail bike. And even with the extra $30 for the heavier spring, it’s still $75 cheaper than the next more expensive seat post option. I really couldn’t be happier with this. Unless your seat is positioned very close to your frame, or you are already seated too far back and have no fore-after adjustability in your handlebars, GET IT!
