Q-Workshop Beige and Black Arkham Horror Dice Set of 5

Title says it all, these dice are of a higher quality than the stock Eldritch Horror dice, also it comes with five (5) instead of the four (4) that the game comes with.They're slightly larger, have the neat Elder Sign carvings on the dice, and generally feel better in the hand than compared to the standard ones that come with the game (photo posted for reference). They aren't a necessity to own, though it adds a bit of flavor and accentuates the game a bit more. The numbers are also easy to identify as they are numbered, a nice touch.If I purchase another set, depending how often I play the game, I'll probably go with the Black and Green to add variety as I am overall very pleased with these. Albeit pricey, but you do get what you pay for with these.

Let's be honest, you really don't need this set of "Arkham Horror" dice from Fantasy Flight Games, but there is no denying they are a lot of fun to play with. Actually, I didn't buy them for "Arkham Horror," but rather for my copy of "Eldritch Horror," which recently came out and after several plays has convinced me its the superior game. Like "Arkham Horror," characters in "Eldritch Horror" score successes on roles of five and six, all things being equal. These dice highlight the five and six sides with the Elder Sign, an important talisman in the Cthulhu mythos. Don't know if I really need to pick up the blessed or cursed dice, but I really do enjoy playing with this beautiful and well-crafted dice set. It's just fun to play with.

Cool dice with a theme that is awesome. Only bad thing is that one of the dice had one of the numbers worn off out of the box. So that wasn't cool.

Black numbers and symbols on the dice make them easy to see. The Elder Signs on the 5's and 6's of the dice make it easy to view successes. They are much better than the stock dice included with the board games. I would recommend them to anyone who plays Arkham Horror or Eldritch Horror a lot, it is a nice (but not necessary) upgrade to the original game materials.

These are good dice. I give them a rating of 4 out of 5. Why not give them a 5? Because, they are just dice. In general, dice are dice. Unless they are poorly shaped or misprinted, they should get at least a three. So then, why not just give them 3 out of 5? Because these dice are specifically designed for use with Arkham Horror. They are expertly printed and designed; they are indeed beautiful dice. The 5 and the 6 are printed inscribed with a lovely elder sign so as to easily distinguish them as a success roll. They are the kind of dice that frequent Arkham Horror players simply MUST have. You might want as many as 15. (Or more if you want every player to have their own dice.) Whether these dice are cream with black printing or black with green, they are still easy to read. The color is a matter of personal taste.BEWARE: The packaging is exquisite; the kind of detailed packaging you feel guilty throwing away. Like I need more boxes cluttering up my house! Curse you Fantasy Flight! CURSE YOU!

Sure, you can play with regular six siders... but these are gorgeous and add to the atmosphere of the game. You've already sunk $80 at the very least into this game... come on take the next step ;)

Bought these for Eldritch Horror as it uses the same 'roll 5 or 6 for success' method that Arkham Horror does. Not necessary at all as the four generic dice that come with the game are fine, but these add a nice bit of game flavor and it does make recognizing a success roll a bit quicker. I bought two sets of these for 10 total dice as later in the game character stats are usually buffed and you find yourself rolling 5, 6, 7, or more dice at a time and being able to roll all of them at once is pretty nice.

Great dice if you are a fan of the genre and like all the little bling items. The decorative design is both a pro and a con, as it does make reading the die a little harder.

Los dados son preciosos, quizás no son baratos pero valen la pena por el diseño y arte que tienen (al menos no valen alrededor de 20 euros como en otros sitios)Posdata: que no os engañe alguna gente que dice que os compréis un par de estos para tiradas de 10 dados (en la versión de 20 euros de estos 5 dados). Con tirarlos dos veces solucionado y os ahorráis un dinero.

I fan di Arkham Horror come me apprezzeranno sicuramente il design e la qualità dei dadi. Sono molto belli e di facile lettura, i successi si riconoscono immediatamente con estrema facilità. Un must per chi combatte contro i Grandi Antichi :D

Ich bereue den Kauf in keinster Weise - die Würfel sind die Investition mehr als Wert. Schön und wirklich fein gezeichnet, schwer und gut in der Hand. Durch die Gewichte im Innenleben bleibt der Würfel nach dem Wurf wie von Zauberhand liegen. Ein ausgezeichnetes Produkt.

Et pour les autres, les dés fournis dans la boite originale conviendront parfaitement.Quand on aime, on ne compte pas, ou presque...

Es el segundo juego de dados que compro de esta gente y en ambas ocasiones me ha pasado lo mismo. Siempre pienso que son muy caros antes de comprarlos y al tenerlos en mis manos no me lo parecen tanto. Bonito diseño y complemento perfecto para Arkham o Eldritch Horror, que traen unos dados horrorosos (en el segundo caso, incluso son demasiado pequeños para mi gusto).
