What's the battery life of each birdie?

Not really certain of battery life but we have used them approx. 4-5 evenings and they all still work. Worth the $. Teenage and grade school kids totally crazy about them.

Can the batteries be changed?

No, this birdie can't be charged, yet the battery is enough when the birdie's feather breaks...
