Park & Sun SportsSoft Touch Tetherball with 7' Nylon Cord and Clip

This is a very nice ball, but I was looking high and low for more of a bounce type ball for smaller kids to play tetherball with. This ball (even though it says very soft to not hurt your hands) in my opinion is not a good description. My hands were stinging after a few hits. Granted it is not as hard as a volley ball it still is pretty hard on hands. Smaller kids should beware as I am sure they are not too familiar with using fingers in a pinch motion to save your wrists and palms. I remember playing all the time when I was younger and didn't think the ball was this tough. I am still looking for more of a four square bounce type ball that I can use for some of our grandbabies that are under 6. The older kids don't seem to mind the sore hands.

This item is falsely advertised. For $20+ not counting shipping this ball is NOT worth it. It comes deflated and with no air pump to inflate the tetherball. The leather is cracked due to shipping and being folded. The pin or inverted pin insert is awkward and not seen or normal like other sports balls. After waiting approximately two weeks for it to arrive, it WAS NOT worth the wait. Returning item. I’m quite disappointed in this item being sold on Amazon. It’s junk. The best thing to do is purchase tetherball at a sporting good store.

We have played with this item maybe 5 times. Today we tried to hit it and it completely came apart. I would hope the company would honor their product and replace it. Very disappointed .

The ball itself is fine. However the nylon cord will not hold up outside for more than 45 days. Ours only gets periodic use when the grandkids and friends are here. We put it out the first part of June. Worked great. By the first of August the cord was frayed and stretched. The ball was hanging on the ground. Our first ball and cord lasted over 5 years. (We store it indoors after the first of September.). Had to find a new cord and that is half the price of the ball and cord originally.

Bought this to play tether ball outside during quarantine. It really is much softer than other tether balls we have tried. We never left it outside when not using it. I’d say we played it quite a bit (just our family of 5), for about a month when the part of the ball that hooks to the rope broke off. I don’t know if ours was faulty or if it just isn’t made too sturdy. There is no to way to repair it or use it. It was a bummer!

Great product. Have had a tetherball pole in yard for 1 year. Finally bought a tetherball. Fun for whole family. Seems to be great quality thus far. My kids are young and have been using it more for a punching ball back and forth but still a fun outdoor activity.

This is a very solid feeling sturdy tether ball. However, it was defective and would not hold air after inflated. But for that it would have been five stars

when I put the pin in to inflate it, the part was pushed all the way in and I could not inflate it. The ball is nice and soft for my grandson's small hands but it was a disappointment that it could not be inflated because the way it pushed the part all the way into the ball when I tried to inflate it.

Used for 20 minutes and then broke. It is past the return period so I just wasted my money.
