Gorgeous and easy to use Steampunk Keyboard
This keyboard is gorgeous! It is incredibly simple to pair to a laptop and the keystrokes are quick and responsive. The back lighting is a fun little feature, especially if you're working in a dark room. So far, this seems like a great quality keyboard. We have used it consistently for about 4 months with no issues whatsoever. The battery is long lasting, making this a really reliable, daily use keyboard. The keyboard itself has a couple of adjustable settings for height, lighting, etc. which makes it a great option for multiple users or for use in multiple settings.

Worth it
My wife loves it. She shows all her friends who are into hearing the โclickety-clackโ of the keys and they love it too. It sounds VERY similar to a typewriter. The lights make it very cool-looking. The build quality is excellent. You might want to consider a case for carrying it though to not damage anything.

Form and Function perfectly aligned.
I am absolutely in love with this vintage-style keyboard! From the moment I unboxed it, I was struck by the beautiful retro designโit looks just like a classic typewriter, complete with round keycaps and metallic accents. It adds so much charm to my workspace, and Iโve already gotten tons of compliments. Functionally, it performs just as beautifully as it looks. I primarily use the USB connection to hook it up to my computer, and it works flawlesslyโno lag, no setup hassles. It also connects perfectly to my iPad Pro via Bluetooth, which is great for working on the go or switching between devices. While the keyboard doesnโt have a number pad, thatโs not an issue for me. In fact, it helps keep the design compact and elegant. The tactile feedback is incredibly satisfyingโclicky and responsive, giving that nostalgic typewriter feel with modern convenience. The keys are a bit loud but I don't mind the clicky sound. Whether you're a writer looking to romanticize your workflow or just someone who appreciates unique design, this keyboard nails it. Highly recommend, it's a great value for the price.

Great keyboard! I'm glad I saved some money going with this one
Pros: -Looks cute. I really like the overall look and color scheme. -Connected to my computer easily. -Responsive keystrokes- There's no delay when typing. The letters appear on the screen just as fast as they do when I type on my laptop keyboard. -I can adjust the backlighting on the keyboard with the little arm on the top left of the keyboard or turn them off completely. There are a bunch of different light modes to choose from- there are flashy settings and more subtle ones. -Can be used in Blue Tooth or USB mode (see the issue that USB mode solved for me below). Cons: (read to the bottom for the solution I found) -This is the issue I removed a star for: It goes to sleep too quickly when you haven't typed for a couple of minute and it takes around 7 seconds to wake back up and connect with your computer again so you can type. It's VERY annoying when I'm reading an email and go to type a response and nothing happens when I hit the keys, so I have to wait for it to reconnect. This happens many times a day when I'm working and it adds a fair amount of irritation to my work days. I haven't found a way to adjust the amount of time it will wait to go to sleep. -SOLUTION: I checked the user manual and it looks like I can switch it to connect via USB (type C) instead of Blue Tooth. I just tried this. I walked away for 5 minutes and came back and the keyboard hadn't gone to sleep at all! So I guess I solved this problem for myself. This also keeps me from having to worry about the keyboard battery dying. -The components are plastic. The only metal I can find is the little stand at the back of the keyboard (I assume this is for your phone or maybe a little notebook (my phone does not fit in this slot, but maybe it would without the case). I think the little dials on either end of the keyboard (left adjust the brightness of the keyboard back light and the right one adjusts the volume on your computer's speakers) are plastic as well. They actually feel well-made, though. The lever at the top left that changes the keyboard backlight setting is plastic- this is the component that seems the most fragile, but it's not something I'd worry about generally unless I accidentally dropped a book on my keyboard or something- in which case the keys may not hold up terribly well either. The keyboard base is also plastic- I chose the wood look. I don't think there's any surprise there, but mentioning it in case you were unsure. Neutral: -The keys definitely make an authentic typewriter sound. This is kind of fun, but could be distracting for some people and I wouldn't recommend it if you share an office because it would likely drive your coworkers crazy! When I'm on a roll and typing super fast, the sound makes me feel like I'm breaking a WPM world record! -The keys have slightly more resistance to being pressed than my laptop keys. It's definitely a different typing experience, but I didn't have any trouble getting used to it when I first got it and I can still type really fast without any problems. I think I've had this keyboard for a few months now and I generally really like it. It's allowed me to put my laptop on a stand so it's at eye-level and helps me to maintain better posture when sitting at my desk. The sleep/wakeup delay in blue tooth mode is my biggest complaint and definitely causes me frequent frustration, but I solved this issue while writing this review by discovering that I can just use it in USB mode! I was worried that I would regret going with the cheaper option- there's a similar keyboard available that's more than double the price and I definitely worried that the price difference would be apparent in the quality. The components of this keyboard are plastic, but they seem fairly durable.

If You Are a Nerd for Retro Then Definitely Get It - Other Than That, Not Useful
If you like gimmicky retro keyboards then this is the one. Key strokes are loud enough so it sounds like a typewriter. Just enough to piss off your cube mates when you're in the office and just short of getting you divorced when you're working remotely from home. It takes awhile to get used to if you're not used to the traditional keyboard press and I'm finding that my keystroke accuracy is about 80%. I also find it lags once in awhile. Kind of like watching an old kung fu flick and listening to the translated dialogue. Also don't get this if you like the additional numeric side keypad because it doesn't have it. The backlit keys are pretty cool but I should've opted for the colorful lighting instead of just white. Also the iPad holder is useful but only if there's no rugged case on it. I do like the volume control knob but the lighting knob for the backlit keyboard is not really needed. Overall it looks like nice, compact, and clean on my desk and will probably be a nice talking point when people are not annoyed with the keystroke sound I have friends again in the office.

Keyboard looks great, very loud clack when typing, Fn keys don't line up with Windows keys
The quality is great, this thing looks awesome. The keys are clanky, but they're supposed to be. It is, however, much more difficult to type fast (120+ wpm) on this novelty keyboard. (Update 7/28/23: I've gotten more accustomed to the keyboard and type faster, it is very loud, however, so when taking notes for an online class and trying to listen while typing is difficult, keep this in mind) My biggest gripe is that the function keys don't line up. The mute F10 is actually volume UP on my PC, the volume down F11 is indeed volume down on PC, F9 is mute instead of next/fast-forward, etc. After many tutorials, I don't see any option in Windows 11 to rearrange these functions, and it's not like I can change out the F10 for one with a volume up symbol. (Update 7/28/23: explained the issue to the seller, turns out these keys line up with Mac OS and not Windows. I've since switched to using the scroll wheel on the top right to control volume and it's actually much easier than the Fn keys anyways, now it's just an OCD thing where I don't like knowing the keys displayed don't match their actual function, even though I no longer use them) Update 7/28/23: backspace key stopped working, but contacted seller and they were excellent to work with - turns out I just needed to use the supplied spare parts to replace the key shaft, which was a 5-minute process (2 of those minutes were spent looking for the box in the garage).

Love It But Bluetooth Stopped Working (SEE EDIT)
Pros: I love love love the feel & sound. Sounds more like a clackety plastic keyboard than the original retro typewriter (can't really replicate the original metal clack, but close enough). It's much easier on the fingers than I thought it would be. I've been so careful with it cuz I love it so much and don't want to have to return or decommission it. Also, well packaged. Nice heft to it without being too heavy, didn't feel cheap. Love the wood color. I'm hoping it will last at least a couple of years. Cons: After about 3 days of continuous use on Bluetooth, light started flashing. It says takes about 6hrs to charge fully. Bluetooth doesn't seem to work anymore but keyboard still works with direct connect to my iPad. (Pictured is when I need to charge the ipad at the same time. Otherwise, you can connect directly to ipad.) EDIT: i tried reconnecting the bluetooth again. (Hold FN+Q connect under ML-981) it's working again so far. *cross fingers* that it lasts a while.
