Not much stability
This is easy to install and seems to attach well to the bottom of my PS4. There are venting holes to allow air to reach the vents under the bottom, although I'm not sure how much air can go through them as they are quite small. I've only had this for a day so I can't speak to the durability.The stability is terrible though. This is not really any better than just standing it on it's side. The base is only arount 1/2 inch wider than the actual PS4, is not weighted, and provides no extra stablity in the event of something like an earthquake or kid running into the entertainment center. It is still very wobbly and I don't trust it at all. If they had put some weight in this it and made the base much wider, it would probably work much better. As is, I don't see much benefit over just standing it on it's end without a stand.

Does What It Says
This stand helps the original launch edition ps4 take up less up space, while also making the console look way more sleek. If you have any concerns about the vents of the stand blocking airflow, don't worry. I can honestly say that my ps4 runs just as quietly with the stand, when compared to without.

I bought the same one at best buy a few years ago it was 19.99 I gave it to my step son recently I wanted another one found it on amazon for 8.90 great

Warped
Base is warped. Does not sit flat on all four non-skid pads. I'll make do, but certainly not happy about it.

Works great
It does what it does stands my PS4 on it’s side. It does have small thin vents along the bottom sides to have the other side of PS4 to breath in the air.

saved me so much room
I just needed a cheap stand (didn't want to buy the other stand at best buy for $10 more) and it does the job. It hasn't tipped over nor cracked.

Fits well. I like that you can “lock” and “unlock” it. Very stable.
