What type of plastic are these bushings made from? is it abs like the originals?

I’m not sure of the exact type of plastic. They are very hard and very similar to the OEM on my 2008 Sportsman 500 EFI. Several of my old ones were broke but I compared to the ones that were intact. They install fairly easy if you clean the A-arms and apply grease first.

What material are they made of?

Not sure but they are very similar (possibly the same) to the stock material. Look and feel exactly tue same.

Does 1 kit do both sides of rear suspension?

Yes, as well as the front suspension!
