I got Tommy the turtle.Overall i like it and it works for my son. Decent volume range, like the mellow night light and timer. Like the melodies and that i can change the play list, what order it plays, the stories and being able to record my voice.However, the information is misleading. When i read it saying that you can connect to it through wifi and use the app to control it, it makes it sound like while he's in his room like if I'm putting him down for the night that i could control it if I'm in another room like i can control the volume, change the song on the machine, etc from the app. So i don't have to sneak in the room while hes sleeping if hes being a light sleeper.Thats not how it works. First it doesn't connect to your wifi, it has its own wifi connection so you have to switch your connections. Only connects when you're within a couple feet so you can't even connect to it if your not right there. Also can only connect if the wifi button on the machine is turned on. When connected to the wifi and using the app you can't play anything on the machine. It plays for you on your device. You can only swap and change the order preloaded music/stories/sounds. I haven't messed with the recording part too much yet. Just kinda looked at it real quick. You can record freely or record preload stories in your own voice.

Use to peacefully allow children to sleep and rest.

I bought this for my little daughter after much research and deliberation because I wanted something ocean/water-related, but had read very disappointing reviews on a lot of other options.There are two reasons I didn't give Tommy 5 stars:-It would be nice if the night light was a little bit brighter.-Even the lowest level volume is still pretty decently loud.Everything else I love about this little machine! It checks all the boxes I had: It's small and cute enough to be sitting on the nightstand, it plays music, stories or sounds, with the app I can add or delete items to customize what it plays, there are no psychedelic lights casting weird shadows, and it doesn't automatically shut off after 20 minutes.I am pretty happy with this purchase, and have actually already recommended it to other (grand)parents.

I was hoping to be able to connect to this via Bluetooth and control it from another room but it doesn't operate that way.However still very cute and my littles love listening to the stories in the evening while we get ready for bed.

Love this little guy so much! It stays on ALL night or you can set a timer. I leave music on all night and they turn it off in the morning.You can change out the music or stories. You can also record your own messages. I recorded “don’t come into mommy and daddy’s bed at night. Stay in you own room PLEASE!!!” My favorite song on it is All the Pretty Little Horses. It is so beautiful but has a dark history (as it seems with all lullabies).I recommend this over any other music nursery song player. This is my favorite so far. Can you say it with me? Stays on all night! Love it.
