Very good quality
Very pleased with how these lights have worked out. I bought my first set a few years ago, and two additional sets recently as part of a renovation. They are very high-quality and cast a warm color temperature.

Good quality lights!
I am very satisfied! In several instances, however, these 1 watt bulbs are brighter than I would like. When mounted on a vertical surface, I found it necessary to fabricate filters to soften the lights to prevent glare.

Perfect subtle lighting, good color temp, no odd tints to the light output and reasonably priced. Hopefully they will last.

Impressive Landscape Well Lights
I must confess to being a photophile - I LOVE LIGHT. Inside I have dozens of lights that perform a myriad of patterns - I love the ambiance different light brings to an area. When I saw this set I was so excited to continue taking my light obsession outside and overall I am left impressed with this set. These lights are easy to install and operate. In comparison to solar landscape lighting these lights that are hardwired to a low voltage transformer, not included, are brighter, last longer and far more dependable. Each of the 12 lights in this set come with 2 connectors that make them easy to connect to your low voltage wiring by simply twisting the connectors to pierce the wires after separating them in that location. One added step I have found well worth the time is covering these junctions with electrical tape to avoid them coming unhooked and requiring the wire to be removed from the ground cover. The lights in this set pull 1 watt each and emit 100 lumens. It is important to understand wattage and how current works in order to calculate totals in order for your transformer to operate at optimal performance. As I evaluate low voltage lighting I have found it helpful to asses a ratio of lumen per watt which for these lights is 100 lumen/watt. This is quite reasonable for luminosity especially with so little wattage being consumed. By utilizing a convex lens above the light source the illumination is magnified making it appear brighter than the actual 100 watts. The LED diodes used within these are COB LED - which is definitely among the best, most energy efficient LED bulbs currently available. The light is bright, clean and a warm kelvin temperature of 2,700.I have had these lights hooked up and in continual use for 6 months which I have found is an adequate amount of time to assess the most typical failure issues that occur with lights in this category. The light housing is made of heavy duty materials that will hold up to all elements - I have each of these placed within the rock beds around my home and they look fantastic. The fact that these lights carry an IP67 classification is a big deal. More often landscape lighting has an IP65 classification which is not the same.An IP Classification of IP67 is what is considered waterproof while IP65 is merely water resistant. As it pertains to landscape lighting and durability this is a major distinction. This has proven to be an excellent set of outdoor well lights that produce more lumens per watt of power used than I expected. The color of the light is excellent and the quality of the lights superb. This has proven to be a set I definitely recommend.

Light up as expected with white light and uses little power as low voltage LED
These lights are great, they run on low voltage wire and transformer. Dig them in or as I did use a piece of pipe to set over them to stabilize and keep the soil back, maybe this will extend their life. The lights add just the right amount of light for safety.I am a landscape architect and have seen and touched and designed and specified thousands of landscape lights. I am always trying new lights and these are comparable to the name brands from high end lighting warehouses yet a fraction of the cost. When LED technology became popular and affordable the landscape lighting world changed. The cost to run landscap lights dropped, the need for a hub system was not longer an issue to prevent light fade as the low voltage delivers the same amount of power to the LED fixtures as they are demanding much less power. You can now daisy chaing lights and get the same glow from each fixture. Now a homeowner can install a landscape lighting starter system in one afternoon and then add to it over time. These lights are sealed tight and should last many years with nightly use at a fraction of the cost of name brand fixtures from lighting warehouses. I consider these lights equal to those lights.Go ahead and get these lights, get some 12 or 13 volt low voltage wire, get a low voltage transformer and a photo cell or timer and get some jelly caps or jelly tubes to connect your light fitures to the low voltage wire and put a system together and light up your night.

Solidly built, great for accent lighting
Despite being rated at 1 watt, these lights are very bright -- you don't want to look straight into them! I have deployed them in my backyard garden as accent lights, using them as sunken "well" lights on the basis of their IP67 waterproof rating. As such, they actually sit slightly below the surface of the garden's soil so that their lighting effect is indirect, to wash a trellis on my garage as well as to illuminate three or four larger shrubs and trees. I'm happy with the complexion of the warm white light, and it doesn't take much of a power source to light up ten or so 1w lights on a 70-foot run. Nice to get such a good result from so small a draw of current!
