Do know that this lip gloss/oil was a splurge for me. And honestly, this is going to be a splurge for anyone who buys it. There's not that much lip gloss in it for 22 dollars. Enough for a month maybe? It would be far more economical to buy a pretty tub of vaseline lip tint but gosh, it's such a joy to wear. I ordered this in "Royal Blood" and even though I'm very fair, this compliments me still. It's not matte at all. It's very sheer but you can build it up into a darker color. Also, the longevity of this isn't that great, just so you know. I love this lip gloss regardless. It feels like velvet, the packaging is luxurious, and it's just all out fun to wear. (I Hope this review helps someone else considering this. I don't normally leave reviews but since there were none before me, I felt like being a trailblazer for once.)

I have to wear something on my lips because they dry out so quickly (combo of climate and age) so I have an assortment of lip products. Hands down, this is my favorite. It is sheer but evens out imperfections beautifully. The neutral shade looks like I almost have nothing on and that is a huge plus for me. I put it on in the morning with a lip liner, and forget about it for the rest of the day. Use it regularly and it will improve the texture of your lips, unlike other products I have used in the past. Great product for "mature" lips!

just discovered this and im in love! goes on smooth and shiny, love the clicker function and ability to lock so it doesnt click in your pocket or bag!

I am not one that likes lip gloss at all! It is always too sticky. This brand has totally become all that I use. it looks perfect on its own or with a lip lining pencil underneath. It is not sticky, it is smooth and silky, but needs to be reapplied every so often. I prefer doing that over sticky any day. I always get lots of compliments on it too! This is my new found favorite.

I don't get the hype for this product.I bought 3 of them because they were on sale for 5$ so I thought why not. Not worth 5$. The colour is a dead beige that never met the pink in the description. This gloss doesn't stay on lips. It feels heavy on your lips too. You are constantly aware that you have something on. It feels lile you have lard on your lips.

I LOVE this lip oil. It feels luxurious, looks very flattering and has a light, sweet scent. Leaves my lips feeling silky soft!

I knew what I was paying for it, but thought it would be a product worth its weight in gold based on reviews. It moisturizes very well, but so do a number of other drugstore balms.

I have finally found my lip gloss after looking for two years for the perfect one. this color is neutral but rosey, and pretty. It is soft and lasts for a long time. It is hard if you don't know what you are doing the first time. Just pressing the pen bottom twice as suggesed will not start the liquid as suggested. You have to hold it in slowly for several seconfs several times, holding it in longer is essential. Don't give up - I almost returned it but kept trying 'till I got it and after that it did indeed just take two quick clicks each time. I am a new fan of this gloss. No more combining two products like I was doing.

When my wife open Butter London sheer it was empty apart from the lid. Thanks for that.

I was very excited about this product; I've heard such good things about butter. The packaging is nice and the click mechanism works well. My issue is with the product itself. It goes on smoothly and has a nice glossy sheen, but it wears off SO quickly and when it does, it leaves lips dry. I literally have to reapply every 15 minutes!! Would not purchase this product again but would try other butter products because of their reputation.

The light pink is way too light; I look like a 60s go-go dancer.

Just received super excited to try as I have tried my friends and is awesome however I cannot get the dispenser to work at all very frustrating! I think I may have to return it :(
