Poorly Molded Threads
I purchased this pump for use on my RV to replace one that was acting a little flakey at times. One of the 1/2" NPT threads was mis-molded big time. At the parting line the threads were almost 1/2 a pitch off. The other side wasn't as bad. I was able to chase the threads w/ a 1/2" NPT die to make them where I could screw a fitting on. I used some teflon tape on the side where I had to install a NPT elbow. On the other side I used a faucet hose & the internal rubber washer sealed fine. RecPro needs to do a better QA job on their products. It seems to be working OK, so I'll use it for now.

Short life span
Installed pump and it lasted 40 days in the camper. The shure flow was there 20 years. Rec-pro replaced the pump no questions and fast. I upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars because of good service.

Ehh
Well it worked great for about 3 months. Now it's dead. Wish I knew how to get it replaced, figured it would have a warranty. Was hoping this would be as good as the shureflo, but not sure at this point.
