Excellent Product for Remote Serial Port Access of Network Devices
I needed to have remote access to few network devices for remote staging and configuration and plugged into a compact PC running a remote access software on it, I now have access to 4 of routers and switches that I needed to configure. I am sure if you have more than 4 devices to handle, multiple of this product can be plugged into USB ports and it then replaces a terminal server. I really like this and will probably order another one.

Works great for tech multitasking using Win 10 and 7. Also Linux
Purchased for my tech department employees to use with laptops. Works perfectly on Windows 10 and 7 also seems to work fine with CentOS and Redhat Linux. We work on a lot of EMC, NetApp, Cisco...equipment testing using serial ports and this is great and easy to stick in a laptop case. They can more easily multitask by running multiple serial connections to multiple systems using Putty or Hyperterminal, etc. I advise you determine what comport each serial connection "head" is assigned in device manager because it gets confusing. We mark each serial head with a number that corresponds to the com port assigned by OS. Once you install the drivers each "head" is assigned a comport that does not change.

I plugged the device into the raspberry pi's usb port , searched /var/log/messages for the new interfaces and then connected to them using minicom (Terminal emulator)Recommended product works with Raspberian on a Pi nicely as a agret 4 port terminal server!

Great tool
Very stable, was able to console into a switch, firewall and two controllers at the same time, very useful!
