Good design, plenty of cooling power if you don't need a freezer
I bought this refrigerator when a temporary loss of mobility forced me to "camp out" in the upper floor of my house. It has worked like a champ for a couple of months & counting. The interior layout allows me to pack things in with minimal wasted space. It doesn't have a freezer, & I don't need one. It will cool liquids to the point of forming ice crystals without using all of its cooling power. I keep the temperature control set at about the halfway mark. Recommended to people who need a compact fridge without a freezer.

It's a great little fridge
It's a great little fridge. Has no ice compartment just as I desired. But it has frosted up anyway after 2-3 months, but defrosting is done within 20 min. I love it, bit enough for my Brita water pitcher, some beer, nuts, and sodas.

Noisy, noisy, noisy
I bought this to replace a 19 year old mini-fridge that was finally giving out in my air conditioned office. It was also a 1.7 cu ft unit but had a freezer. It was a cheap unit - around $50 back then. I chose this fridge because it DIDN'T have the useless freezers that most of this size units come with.Where do most people put a mini-fridge? Offices, dorms, bedrooms, game rooms & garages are by far the most common locations people put them in. This unit is not going to work in a hot garage and states that in the manual. It is probably OK for a game room. There are 2 requirements for a mini-fridge to be useful for an office, dorm or bedroom:#1 - Keep items cold#2 - Be reasonably quietSo far, everything seems to be staying cool. Office temperature is 72° and the temperature setting on the fridge is Normal. Nothing is freezing. I only have 4 small bottles of water and a small container of food (that was already cooled overnight at home) in the fridge. The compressor cycles a lot. Way more than my old unit. It cycles on for 3 minutes, off for 6-7 minutes rinse and repeat. Here's the main issue. This little thing is noisy. The compressor is 3-4 times louder than the almost 20 year old unit it replaced. When the relay kicks on/off it sounds like a ruler is dropped on an empty can. People hear it from 15 ft away.Combine the loud compressor and relay sounds with the constant cycling and this thing is useless in a dorm or bedroom if you want to sleep. I don't think I'll be able to get used to it in my office either.NOTE: Maybe this is a defective fridge. It happens. I'll discuss options to exchange it and update this review if anything changes.UPDATE: The relay on the replacement fridge is much quieter when switching on and off. It is slightly less noisy while running. It's still too noisy though. Compressor cycles the same amount. I will keep it but would not recommend this for anyone using it in a bedroom, dorm or small office.

It also clicks off and on, but is very quiet otherwise..Not the best refrigerator, but does the job.
I know it is a small refrigerator without any ice maker, but it takes too long to cool things down. It is fine for anything like a sandwich or pop, but it will take a day to coll down. Once cooled down it keeps a consistent temperature of around 42 degrees. It must be set to maximun to get to 39 degrees. It also clicks off and on, but is very quiet otherwise.. I wish it were more powerful, but it is too difficult to return so I am stuck with it. It does the job good enough if I don't open it too often.

Decent for the price
Chose this model due to limited space under a bar. The good: It's compact, and does it's job very well. Keeps things cold and doesn't give off a lot of heat. The bad: It doesn't hold some of the items in the door as well as I'd like. The 2-Liter area has a slim metal bar that slides flat when you remove the 2-Liter bottle, and you have to fiddle with it to put it back. It also pops off rather easily.Overall, this is a good item that works very well. Considering the price, it was a fantastic bargain.

Who needs a night stand?
Perfect for me. I use it next to my bed to hold my insulin inside, along with water for the evening and taking my pills. Not having a "freezer" section makes more usable room for me, plus I don't have to defrost the freezer several times a year. It sets next to my bed on a platform I built to bring the top up to bed height, and it has my alarm clock, lamp, water, etc. - makes a nice night stand.

Very nice
Design maximizes amount you can place inside as it has no freezer which is what we were looking for.
