modern fabric makes a great meat bag
These are excellent game bags, very durable, very light, packs small. I killed a very large bull elk and the bags were tight on the hind quarters, they would probably be perfect for most bulls, though. The little game bag that comes with this kit I found to be pretty worthless, another large one would have been better. I am going to buy 2 more large game bags separately to add to this kit. With the big bull, there was not enough room for the head / cape, 2 hind quarters, 2 fronts, (put them both in one bag which was not ideal but worked OK), the backstraps, tenderloins, and other Misc. meat. If you are packing out ribs I would get another bag for that. Knowing what I know now I would have gotten the moose kit since I was going to be hunting large bulls, but this one will work great for average bull elk and cows. Highly recommend.
