The kit was delivered in a high quality box with everything needed to plug in and work with minimal set up. The instructions are simple to follow but I think most people would find the settings quite easy to follow simply by plugging it in and having a play with the buttons. Having been a user of dashcams for the last 15 years, I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality & feel of the unit. The gps module is part of the mounting bracket which sticks easily to the screen and in turn, the camera is held in place on the slide-on bracket by a strong magnet. Although delivered with a 32gb card, I fitted a good quality 256gb memory card to give me plenty of storage capacity at the highest quality camera settings. The app was easy enough to download and use on the Android platform and the desktop app on windows works without issue and provide all relevant details. I have yet to try the rear view camera which is not so easy to fit in my 4x4 pickup which also has a rear canopy - The window of which I can never really see through due to the dust & muck attracted to the rear window! Luckily my truck driving experience has taught me to rely on my wing mirrors rather the rear view. I am considering setting this camera up as an 'in cab' monitor. The sound quality of the recordings is good - I just pray that in the event that I have an incident that requires me to produce the footage, I have some decent music playing and that I'm not, god forbid, singing! The night vision seems good. I am mostly in rural areas but the first trip for me included rural & dark main roads, plus lit motorway and towns so a good mixture and appears good throughout. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the unit and having given it a good test to prove the capability and quality, I will now fit the hard wire kit. One of the main reasons I chose this unit was the Super capacitor rather than a battery which from personal experience have found do not like potential wide range of temperatures in cars. I may add to my review once I have experience of the summer temperatures. Compared to other cameras & kit on the market, I would recommend that you add this to your final list for serious consideration.

I bought this to fit into my Daughter's new Renault Clio Evolution TCe90, and I have to say that it was one of the easiest installs I've ever had to do :-) The instructions are pretty good, although I would advise that they are (understandably) pretty generic. However, I'd recommend having a read through before starting. As a bloke, I don't usually but in this case I'm glad I took the time. The front module is dead easy to fit, and the cable is nice, thin and flexible, making it easy to tuck behind the windscreen trim. The rear camera takes a bit of thought, as it is mounted on the rear screen which obviously has to open and close with the hatchback. However, easy enough after some trial and error. The rear cable is plenty long enough, the trickiest part was making the excess tidy and concealed. I mounted the rear cable in such a way as to minimise flexing when the rear hatchback is opened to access the boot, so as to eliminate the risk of fatigue failure of the cable, all good so far after 12 months. The software / App I left to my daughter, as I'm old school :-) It all worked first time, I'm pleasantly surprised by the picture quality - especially at night, which I wasn't expecting.

I’ve had multiple serious issues with this REDTIGER dash cam, and unfortunately I can’t recommend it. The camera powers on and shows “CAM GOOD”, but no live image is displayed at all. The screen UI loads normally, but there is no video feed. Rear camera disconnected, SD card formatted, reset done — still no image. This points to a hardware/sensor failure, which seems to be a known issue. The mobile app experience is also very poor: • You must connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi, which only works when the car and camera are powered on • If the car is off, you have zero access to recordings • There is no cloud access unless the camera is on and connected • Downloads are extremely slow, even for short clips • Large files take a very long time to transfer, making it impractical in real situations This defeats the purpose of a dash cam when you need quick access after an incident. Parking mode is advertised, but without reliable access to footage, it loses its value. Combined with the hardware reliability issues, this camera feels unpolished and unreliable. Overall, it worked for around 1.5 years. Good image quality but disappointed with life it has.

This Dash Cam is amazing it records the footage very clearly and stores them locally on a memory 32gb micro sd card in it's port. It fits all cars by how it using a car port and not a usb port. It has a rear camera that is very crisp so you can capture the car behind you. And you can view the footage on the dash cam and on phone via the app and is very worth the money for people who want to have evidence if something happens. Another pro is that if anyone is touching or around the vehcile they will be captured via the dash cam front or the back so it gives complete peace of mind for driving as it won't ever fail you compared to the cheap £40. Overall I would highly recommend this product for the price and service it can help with!

I've had the camera for a bit over 2 years now and it has served me very good. Quality is amazing, with 4K recording available for front and hd for the rear view camera. It is very easy to use and install. You don't have to be technical to do it. It will take you probably 10-15 minutes to get it done. Functionality is great, with many options on the settings to play around depending what you need. Now to the main part of the customer service. After a bit over 2 years of use, the camera started to play around. It would keep turning on and off randomly. At some points, it would be on without recording. I check it for few days/weeks hoping it would stop but nothing changed. So I contacted their customer support to help me troubleshoot the issue. In my great surprise, I received a reply from the within 24 hours with step by step checks to do to ensure if the issue is with the camera or set up(memory card faulty, cables cut etc.). After checking everything and realising that everything is connected properly, the customer support offered me a camera replacement! All in all, I can say I am very happy with product but the customer support has made the whole experience amazing! Thank you RedTiger Team for your fantastic service! I would definitely recommend to anyone to buy a product for them as the peace of mind they offer you for the value for money of the product is just one of a kind!

Good value for money. Clear recordings and easy to use.

This does not deserve the amount of 5 star reviews it gets. I've broken down the pros and cons to show why. Pros: - Front dash cam is high quality. - Basic bells and whistles extras. Cons: - Installation can be fiddly and non adjustable beyond tilting up or down. - Rear camera is very low quality. I thought 2.5k from the product heading, but it is for the front camera to increase recording FPS. The rear camera is 1080p, which is very low by today's standards. - It overheats, which will age components at an accelerated rate. - It stops working the moment the engine is off, meaning it won't record a potential accident that affects the power/engine. - It gets tedious having to go through settings and enable WiFi through the dash cam every time. - While connected to the dash cam WiFi, your phone is essentially in offline mode and cannot use basic features such as music streaming and take calls over internet (WhatsApp, Teams, etc.). - The app is little more than Google maps in offline mode with dash cam live stream taking up the top half of the screen, not worth the sacrifice when Google maps + mobile data gives you so much more. The current design means that you are better off not using the app until after your drive is over to access stored footage then, which defeats the purpose of the majority of the features on offer. The trade-offs and design flaws are not worth more than 2 stars at most, and I cannot understand all the high ratings. Most of the accurate reviews I've seen are in the 1-2 star region for this product.
