Fits my cheapo MX750. Sturdier than the cross and compound slide it’s mounted on. Easy to adjust. A little longe mounting bolt would be nice.

only complaint is i wish it came with more of the 250-001 holders for the typical lathe bits. this is just a personal observation.the unit and the parts are of very nice quality for what you pay. mine was up and running right away without any modifications (aside from the initial cleaning/re-lube of the parts).this is a highly recommended upgrade to your mini lathe. HF seems to drag their feet on shipping the unit they sell and i cant comment on it's quality. just buy this one if you have the HF mini lathe and be done with it. A++

I own a SIEG M4 8x16. I was tired of tool post that came with the lathe, so I decided to buy a quick change one. The product is fairly good. For that price was what I was expecting for.I had to machine a new stud to match the M12x1.75 thread on tne compound slide. The one that comes with is an M10.Works very good. Holds the tool firmly.

Work perfectly om my harbor freight 7x10 mini lathe wish I would have gotten one sooner. Drop in fit just unscrew old post stud replace with the one that comes with the new post everything fit like a glove on mine. Greatly improved my cuts no more chatter when using tail stock now. Would definitely buy again.

My son got this for me. I like this gib type tool post holder over the piston type. There seems to be less slop. I have had time to use it yet, but it bolted right up to my 7x12 mini lathe.

This fit my G8688 lathe with no modifications needed. Solid with no vibration like some of the aluminum ones have. Good and rigid. Just would like to find extra holders without having to buy the whole set again.

Bought for generic Chinese 9x20 lathe. Identical to OXA tool post sold on the specialty store but comes with crumby knurling tool and only one #1 holder. Quality is what you would expect with some lash and grit in the mechanism but a big improvement over the stock shim tool post. One of the holders knurled adjustment nut was tapped off center and wobbles so much its unusable. Currently negotiating for replacement. Post is 10 mm and does not fit stock stud which is too short, threaded 8 mm with a 10 mm shoulder base. To make this work I have to either make a new 10mm stud, or make a sleeve 10mm with 8mm internal thread. Easy enough to do, but leaves a very thin and weak stress point which will likely break in use. Lots of YouTube stuff about this. The included 10mm stub and base are useless unless your lathe has a T nut set up and then you have to make that part to fit. Bottom line is this not a bolt on replacement but a project kit. Was all I could find at any half way reasonable price.
