jane iredale PureMoist Lipstick

Delivery was prompt. I have ordered this lipstick before directly from the company after discussing color choices with a consultant at Jane Iredale. FIrst of all, I would never pick such a dark color because I have a Scandinavian look - light hair, eyes, and pink ruddy skin tone. However I tried the color Kaylee and it isn't too dark at all - beautiful color, natural, and very moisturizing. It doesn't feel waxy. I hate textures that feel almost waxy and gummy. This texture is soft. I add a thin amount of the Jane Iredale PureGloss in Kir Royale because I got a sample of it and it works really nicely combined with the Kaylee -- really natural. I don't really enjoy lip gloss much because it's usually gooey but this lip gloss moisturizes and stays a bit tacky but not much. It's just comfortable. Also it has a bit of sparkle but not over the top.

The lipstick color Lily is beautiful, subtle and is easy to apply, The con is that it is very drying. It's unfortunate because the lipstick is not cheap. I have since tried the Jane Iredale Lip Drink Lip Balm and it is more moisturizing. Yes, this is not considered a lipstick to some, but if you're looking for some color to apply on lips with moisturizing effects, this will do it. I have tried Buff and Crush in the lip balm. Buff is a neutral color. Crush is a very fun pink color. If I want to tone the Crush color down I will mix it with Buff. Hope Jane never discontinues this product. I try to always have an extra tube on hand. Great color, wonderful staying power without dryness. get complements all the time, The only flaw is the difficulty in getting to all of the product left in the end of the tube when it is running low- solution; just cut the ends off each tube, use the applicator to withdraw the lipstick from the now open bottom end of the tube ,and lightly wrap in clear plastic wrap when finished. No waste. .

This lipstick is amazing, stays on all day. I love the color. I was looking for a cruelty-free alternative to the Mac Snob lipcolor that I love dearly, and this is it! Pale pink and gorgeous. Really brightens up your face. I just bought two more Jane Iredale products after this arrived last night because I love it so much. Great vegan, cruelty-free line that does wonders.

I like their old lipsticks better, but I like the brand so I've stuck with them. By playing around with lip liners and mixing shades I achieve the color I want, but I've always had to do that with all brands of lipsticks. I just had to do it less with the old Jane Iredale formulation. But I like that their natural and they go on easily,

I have been wearing Jane Iredale Puremoist Lipstick with natural sunscreen for years. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I tried the new "version". I will not buy it again. It was NOT moisturizing and soothing - quite the opposite for me. I hope that Jane Iredale will have enough complaints to bring back the original "formula".

I love this Jane Iredale lipstick. It goes on smoothly and the color is perfect for me. The slim design of the tube makes it easy to carry in a pocket.

I bought "Theresa" as a replacement for my beloved-but-discontinued "Carmen" lipstick by Jane Iredale, at the recommendation of a JI customer service person. The "Theresa" is similar, but darker, more opaque, and less creamy than the "Carmen" was. It's still a great shade of red that works nicely with my fair skin and copper hair (not easy to find, believe me), but it's not a true replacement. It's only a "best I could do" kind of replacement. For everyday, I find that jane iredale Just Kissed Lip Plumper in "Venice" is a better choice for me, even though it has to be applied more often.
