WORX WG156 Li-Ion Cordless Grass Trimmer/Edger with 2 20-volt Batteries and Manual Handle, 10-Inch

Don't look any further,this is a real weed eater and edger!!! I am 5,9 inches tall and it is just the right height. Any taller it might be a problem for some. I have a large yard and finished with one battery. It works strong until it just stops and needs to be recharged. Light weight and easy to use. The only suggestion I could make to the manufacture is let it get 3 inches longer then it would fit most anybody. It does come with two batteries and they take about three hours to charge. The trick is let them loose all of there charge before recharging them or they will have a short charge memory.

Solid value, and this manufacturer provides "free" (you pay shipping) cartridges for line. The battery lasts a very long time, and the quick-conversion to edging and trimming is intuitive and nice. The build quality leaves some to be desired, but if you treat this well, I don't see any issues with this lasting a long time.The spare battery is a nice value-add, but I haven't found myself needing it with basic/standard homeowner needs.

First, let me say the people who only gave this one or two stars may have had issues that I did not experience. I received the trimmer yesterday, it was super easy to assemble and I charged one of the two batteries for 12 hours like the instructions said to do. I used it today and never shut it down, I left it running the whole time I used it, even while walking to a different area it ran continuously for 20 minutes. I put it away with charge still on the battery, I removed the battery which wasn't even a little warm and left for the day. I came home in the evening and decided to do a few more minutes and ran it continuously for a least another five to seven minutes. Put it away again with a charge remaining on the battery. As far as power and what it will cut. It's good for grass and weeds as long as the weeds aren't super thick and it won't cut seedlings like a serious gas trimmer will. For light home use it's great. It's easy to use, very adjustable and pretty light weight.

I just got this trimmer and wanted to say this little trimmer is great to use! I first used it to clear a weed patch and couldn't believe how well it cut through the over growth. It took the charge of both batteries and part of a third. I'd say I got about 20 min's of work time from each battery; it takes 2-3 hours to charge one battery. I'd like to have had a little more time which is why only 4 stars. Some info I read said I could get 30 min's. And when I use it for lessor challenging jobs maybe I will get more time out of the batteries.This trimmer is so comfortable to use! You can adjust the length of the trimmer and angle of the handle so you can customize it to how you hold it. It's well balanced and light weight. You can also adjust the angle of the trimmer end. This is helpful if you have a ditch or hill to trim; it's also how you adjust it to the edging position. The string is self feeding. I thought I would run out of string before battery life but I still have plenty of string left on the spool.It has a 3yr warranty. That gives me the security that it won't end up in a junk pile if it fails after one season. And Worx gives you string for life; you pay shipping/handling fee ($8+ change) that is reasonable. No hunting for the right size string and wrapping spools. I have ordered them, I think it's 6 spools. That should last a long time based on my use so far.I can't say enough good things about this trimmer. I have thrown away my old trimmer and electric grass shears now that I've seen how well this works.

Had for a week now. Works ok, nothing great, nothing bad. Line is very small. .065 line is not very durable. Will try some .080 and see if that's any better. Battery life is okay, nothing spectacular. Is lightweight and easy to handle.

This is light weight and has held up, I use 1 battery per cutting. The string got caught up inside the reel once and I had to restring it but for the most part the string has been maintaining a good few inches for cutting. It has good power cutting some very young trees and shrubs. Over all I am happy with this. Oh another note my daughter wanted to help me and used this, first time with a power tool and she handled it just fine. so I would say its good for a woman to use as well.
