Great product, but few sizing options!
Loved the design of these cross training shoes, ordered a size 10, although I routinely wear a 9.5. However, these turned out to be too narrow for my feet, sadly had to return! Amazon or most other online retailers do not carry these in larger width for men. Will have to pass on Inov 8 until such sizing becomes available.

Fantastic CrossFit shoe at a discount price
I got these shoes after reading pages and pages of reviews on what people like for CrossFit. I am new to CF, but not to many of the activities in CF. I have run half marathons, been a rower, used to be a weight lifter... so I am used to all the events. The challenge for me was to find a shoe that I could easily flips between running and dead lift say and feel solid on my feet.I ultimately went with these for two reasons. One, many people seemed to like them for CF stating they did just what I was looking for. Easy shoe to do multiple things in. Second, the price. I got these for less than $30, so it seemed like even if they sucked for CF I could just wear them for looks - I like bright shoes.I just used these today in my CF class and was very happy. Was able to PR my Deadlift and switch easily between rowing, deadlift and burpees and frankly never noticed my shoes - thats a good thing in my book. The are definitely a zero-drop shoe. So if you arent used to that, you might not like these. But I have worn Merrells and Vibram FiveFinger and many others so I knew what to expect.Comparatively to my Merrell Road Gloves, I like these better for two reasons (for CF that is). 1) They have heel lock - which for weight lifting hands down beats my Merrells which are lightweight mesh heel and dont hug my heel - which keeps the shoe solid underfoot. 2) They have rope grip. While I havent tested this, I cant wait to try. Hey, it cant hurt right?Overall, great shoe. And to the guy whose review said these shoes are "guy" colors - they are actually deeper than they appear in picture. Bright as hell, but they arent a chick shoe at all.

Awesome shoe for CrossFit
I started CrossFit a couple of months ago and wanted some zero-drop shoes to wear. After wearing a pair in black to work every day where I have a standing desk, buying another pair—in a different color to differentiate their purpose—was an easy choice.I have not tried the F-Lite 195 which have the narrower "Performance" last because several friends with feet similar to mine found them to be too narrow and either cause hot spots or wear prematurely. The F-Lite 232 have a "Natural" last which is wider in the forefoot and allows the toes to splay. This provides more stability which is essential when performing moves like snatches, jerks, and squats. The heel cup is nice and tight without being too high or causing pressure on the achilles tendon. If you have never worn a fairly minimal shoe, these may take a bit of getting used to. There is no internal structure or support. The footbed is completely flat. The sole is flexible and provides a fair amount of ground feel without going to the extreme "barefoot" feel of Vibram Fivefinger shoes.Sizing is true. I'm between a 9 and 9.5 (American) in most shoes. I found the 9 just barely rubs the outside tips of my smaller toes. The 9.5 is perfect, without being too loose. The only complaint I really have with this is the color. The aqua is a bit darker than portrayed in the picture, but is not exactly a "manly" color. I like the Black/Raven colorway better, but I wanted these to look different so that I don't mix them up at oh-dark-thirty on the way out the door for CrossFit. The attached picture has been balanced so that the colors look as accurate as possible.

Throws off balance
The sole of the shoe is very this between the heal and the pad of the foot. When I am using at Crossfit, it has thrown off my balance making it harder to control the angle of my knees on heavy weights.

awesome training shoes
I bought these shoes for use as Crossfit shoes, which they seem ideally suited for.fit: somewhat large since I like to go barefoot in my shoes. when I wear socks like normal people, they fit perfectlylooks: amazing. lots of people wearing Reebok Crossfit Nanos (2.0s and 3.0s) have remarked to me that they wish they'd bought these instead after seeing themperformance: very comfortable in use, totally don't notice them. the outsole is firm and well planted, best pair of trainers I've ever wore for weightlifting (squats and deadlifts feel excellent wearing these). the shoe is very lightweight and flexible, heel-toe-drop and cushioning are minimal, so be sure that that's what you're looking for in a shoe. I'm very accustomed to 4mm and 0mm heel-toe-drops so that's not an issue but if you come from wearing traditional running shoes you should ease into itfit and finish: everything looks great and after several WODs everything still looks great. only weak spot I see is the red coating material around the toe cap, it's already started to rub off a little from being scuffed against concrete walls when stretching. that being said, I don't think it actually serves any real purpose as the blue mesh material underneath seems fairly robust as far as lightweight shoe construction goes.so far so good, I'd be happy to buy Inov-8's again at this point.

minimalist shoes and why I like them. If you are looking for cushion and ...
These are flat, minimalist shoes and why I like them. If you are looking for cushion and a bunch of support and etc you will not get it here. These are more like going bare-foot than wearing some kind of running shoe - which again, is why I like them. Light and fast!

Awesome shoes!
Great colors, people comment on them at the gym. Great for working into a minimalist type shoe for forward foot striking. I haven't put too many miles on these because I am working my way into them going half mile a day for a week or so then adding a quarter mile a day to strengthen my legs. Forward foot striking uses different muscles in your legs and if you do too much too fast you could hurt yourself. I didn't realize how snug these were. I ended up getting thin socks to wear with them. The normal cotton socks are too thick an they bunch up making it uncomfortable to wear. Overall, great purchase!

Absolutely love them!
I have had several zero drop road shoes but these feel fast and lively, and sufficiently cushioned to provide protection when running on Tarmac. Absolutely love them!
