Apple iPhone 13, 128GB, PRODUCT RED - Unlocked (Renewed)

Lots of mixed reviews made me initially quite hesitant to make this purchase. But I went with Renewed Premium sold and shipped by Amazon—the device arrived in mint condition, unlocked, battery life >90%, and in Amazon’s Renewed Premium packaging which provided protection during shipping. The device also came with an original Apple charging cable in mint condition and a block adapter (not Apple) which both functioned as intended. I had no issues whatsoever. I did a significant amount of research into other options for used iPhone purchases, and I decided this was the best deal because of Amazon’s generous return policy (in the event the device had issues/damage, arrived locked to a carrier, etc) and warranty for Renewed Premium devices. My recommendation is to preferentially purchase a Renewed Premium device direct from Amazon, or if it’s another seller, then be sure to check out their reviews, policies, and info by clicking on the seller’s name. Screen quality was flawless. Zero overheating. Durable enough device, but, as with all iPhones, it is best protected in a reasonably sturdy case with drop protection and a screen protector + camera lens protector. Worth the money when you consider device repair if it is dropped/broken. Appearance is good and the Midnight color is an attractive color. Touch sensitivity was same/similar to a new device.

Although my iPhone 6S Plus still works just as well as when I first bought it, it cannot connect to Airtag 2nd generation in the Find My app, so I wanted to get an updated iPhone to use modern Airtags (2nd gen), the Find My app, and the Apple Podcasts app, which has a fantasic auto-generated transcripts feature. I originally got a Renewed/Refurbished iPhone 12, but the battery life was disappointing when compared to iPhone 6S Plus. I paid a few bucks more and upgraded to the iPhone 13 Renewed Premium. It was really worth it! A renewed premium/refurbished iPhone 13 has everything you need for a modern smartphone in 2026: 1. One-year warranty/return period with Amazon. It came with a checklist and a list of all the refurbished/replacements done to the device in the Service History in the About screen on the iPhone. I got 100% battery life since the battery and logic board were replaced. 2. It can run iOS 26, which has a lot of cool, quality-of-life features compared to my iPhone 6S Plus: MagSafe wireless charging, StandBy mode to turn it into a desk calendar/clock screen when horizontal and charging with MagSafe, Category grouping in Mail, Face ID unlock is quick and easy to set up and is blazing fast unlocking the iPhone. 3. The 6.1-inch screen and power button did have hairline scratches, but they disappear with a screen protector and a case, so I don't mind. The display still looks great for 60 Hz! I do not play games on my smartphones, so I don't care about it. The only negatives: 1. iPhone 13 is heavier and thicker than the iPhone 12. 2. I don't think the camera focus of either back lens is as sharp as the iPhone 6S Plus. It takes a long time to focus, especially for close-up shots, and boke is not reliable. I am hoping to keep it for another 5 years, as I trust the quality of Apple and its refurbishment partners.

Bought what was supposed to be Amazon Renewed Certified Excellent IPhone 13. Was that an absolute lie!! Got the phone and the battery was dead completely, then it won’t stay on longer than 10 minutes!! Shows fully charged but once the charger is removed it just shuts off after no more then 10 minutes, sometimes sooner or immediately even though it shows battery left. When it does decide to stay on the battery goes dead in 30-40 min not even using it. That’s not even the worst part…yeah, it gets even worse!! It literally has NO/ZERO volume. The speakers have major issue! It won’t ring, won’t make any sound when playing videos or music but will randomly make a noise if you mess with the volume adjustment in the menu or if you flip the side volume lock a bunch! Randomly will make a quick sound then it goes right back to mute mode!! I bought a mute phone without knowing or intending to. It absolutely will not make sound or ring when you need or want it to but sure will just randomly spit a sound out for a millisecond!! Get this though, it will ring when called off FaceTime, then if I don’t use Bluetooth earbuds people can’t hear me when I answer or call somebody. Literally not a peep. This was supposed to be an Excellent condition Amazon Renewed IPhone according to this sellers listing!! Guess that tells you what kind of person this is selling people lies and garbage apple products claiming to be Amazon Renewed…so my opinion is steer clear from buying any electronics from this one!! Now I requested a return after paying $293.57 for this junk and basically the seller wanted me to send them images/proof the phone wasn’t working. Had to contact Amazon to get a return approved then the seller had the nerve to offer me a 10% partial refund to keep this junk phone. The nerve!! 10%?? After having the phone a few weeks and getting by with it how it is because I went a month without a phone after my previous IPhone was stolen! This was the replacement and I had to save to get it, a month without a phone is terrible and like I lost a hand…I was excited to finally get this phone and have totally dreaded sending this one back, waiting for it to be received, then wait on refund and then hope to find another phone and purchase it, then wait for it to ship, receive it and activate it. I’d be weeks again without a phone. I pondered this and drove myself nuts worrying about not having my phone again. This brought me hesitantly to the conclusion that I’ll get a partial refund and keep it…then when I can get it fixed or fix it myself and not be without a phone. After I decided this I contacted the seller and explained this and asked for 20% partial refund which would help pay for the repairs not even a small portion of what I’m sure it will actually cost me plus the headaches but 20% is all! I got a message back within a few hours and was told NO!! Said 10% is most they will refund! After all the inconvenience headache and stress this purchase has caused me this “uuuuggghhhhh!!” (Sure you know what that says) doesn’t even have the decency to give me $57 back on a garbage phone I paid $300 for! SO, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND MY OPINION AND STEER FAR AWAY AN CLEAR Of THIS SELLERS ELECTRONIC STORE OR ANYTHING THEY SELL! SCAMMER in my book and I sincerely hope this review helps somebody else avoid going through anything even remotely like my experience with this seller because the listing sure sounded convincing. But got convinced to buy trash for $300 and a terrible overall experience and a self who has zero compassion, sympathy or morals. 20% was super reasonable to me, I was gonna ask for 50% because that’s about how much of a working IPhone. Needless to say the Phone is getting returned now! They have scorned me and I’m almost to the point of never buying from Amazon again period because they will not help me other then forcing seller to accept return…no compensation for time, stress, inconvenience or losses concurred for being without my phone again. Worst consumer customer experience I’ve ever had in my entire life and I won’t forget it!

If I could give this item more than 5 stars I would! Without any hesitation. I got this phone and couldn’t be more pleased with it. My old phone ended up taking an unplanned dip in the pool and the screen started malfunctioning. I ended up having to get a whole new phone last minute and on an emergency basis. For one. I ordered it and it came within 3 hours. YES WITHIN THREE HOURS! I was amazed at how fast it arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival it did arrive in a regular white box wrapped and with a sticker of some sort on the screen. I peeled the sticker back and inspected the screen and found NO scratches no dings. Nothing!!! I then inspected the rest of the phone and same. It’s as perfect as could be. Brand new. I then tried turning it on. Unfortunately the phone was dead. I started getting a little scared. Was it too good to be true. I plugged it in and in moments it powered on. I checked the battery health. And lo and behold. 100% 🤯. I was in shock!! I’ve had it for a few days now and everything is great! I could t be more happy. For reference I got it in excellent condition. In midnight.

Just goy it 15 minutes ago. Battery health is 100 percent, great camera, and the exterior and screen is completely clean. Already loaded with 26.4 OS. Seems like a great deal. Four stars because it won't have the useful life of a new phone. Otherwise perfect.

I ordered the phone in great condition and it exceeded my expectations, screen came clean with no scratches, the only downside is that it came with a little dent on the bottom part near the corner but aside from that the phone came in excellent condition, battery life came at 84% and in 4 months since the purchase it is still at 84%, would have prefer a little more than 84% but for the price I can’t complain.

After using the phone for a few weeks, the 256GB is very convenient. Compared to my old phone, the screen real estate and camera quality is highly appreciated. Very responsive touch-wise. Favorite feature so far is the green color, it looked good online but even better in person, even for acceptable condition.

Honestly, I don’t know what I was expecting. I have an iPhone XR that I got eight or nine years ago and at its maximum capacity and the battery doesn’t work anymore , never charges and phone freezes all the time so I thought I’d come to Amazon for an upgrade. I knew I would get a renewed phone. My old phone was in excellent physical condition not one scratch not one dent not one blemish , the only problem was it wasn’t in great working order so I ordered this iPhone 13 renewed excellent condition unlocked and there are some scratches along the sides and it’s a lot smaller than my iPhone XR which is very odd. It’s actually smaller than the iPhone 12 which makes absolutely no sense but it’s holding a charge and it’s working. I will say whoever had this phone before they shipped it out to me did not do a factory reset I had to do that so I could transfer my stuff over. And after reading all the reviews, I was a little skeptical, but I will give this phone a shot. Other than the slight blemishes along the edges of the phone. It’s working perfectly fine. I just wish the iPhone 13 wasn’t smaller than my old phone! I have ordered a iPhone 12 before off of Amazon for my daughter and it’s in perfect condition not one problem with it so hopefully this phone will hold up but I still have my XR in case this one takes a crap! Also, this phone was supposed to be unlocked which I believe it was but it would not let me tap into my cell phone provider so I actually had to go physically to the store for them to do that which I didn’t wanna have to do!

This phone came quickly and looks brand new. Initially it was not allowing me to set it up completely with an error message of cannot restore backup. After a few times doing that, it showed me a screen to update the phone to current IOS. Once the updates were done everything transferred without much difficulty, however my social media and banking apps were not shown up. I went into AppStore and looked up one of my apps, and it was sitting there waiting to be downloaded. So for all my apps, I just had to download them again. So I say all that just to advise someone who may be troubleshooting. Otherwise no troubles with the phone… battery is 99% and it’s working well. Hoping to get a few years out of it. This is my 3rd iPhone I have purchased from Amazon for myself and family. I would not hesitate to buy another phone off Amazon. I look at the seller profiles and this is the seller I have gone with each time.

I received this phone on June 30, 2025. I set it up a week later. Today is July 24, 2025. The phone is working fine. (Two days ago the phone suddenly froze, but it did come back after I let the battery die and then recharged the phone again.
