Keyless Drill Chuck Extra-RV50-13, Röhm 1322451, Mount 1/2"-20, Clamping Capacity 1.5-13 with Radial Locking, Metal Design, with Through-Hole

My drills chuck OEM was pretty wobbly. It's an older M18 Fuel hammer drill combo so it uses a 1/2in thread unlike the newer drills. This fit pretty well and spins way truer. Consider buying a replacement screw as well. I was able to get mine out and reuse with loctite but I can see you having to destroy it to get it out. These older drills take a left hand thread Phillips screw that's easy to strip. The newer drills used a torx screw.

After having my drill for years and using it occasionally the chuck started making an odd clicking sound. I removed it and was able to hear something very small rattling inside. It was difficult to find the right size thread for my drill so I took a chance on a cheaper chuck and had to return it. This one is the right size. Make sure you do your homework to figure out which size you need.The quality seems sturdy. Much heavier than the stock one made of plastic as much as possible. More expensive than cheaper ones that still use plastic but less than half the price of a new drill. Action seems smooth. The grip offers a lot to hang on to.

This chuck replaced the factory one in my Makita cordless drill and was a game changer. It locks bits in place with a distinct click and works flawlessly. The factory chuck would sometimes loosen and release the bit under heavy loads. No more.

Perfect replacement for my worn-out Milwaukee M18 drill chuck. Watch the videos and don't rush or force it, and job done in 5 minutes. Now my bits stay in the *@#$@#$ chuck and don't spin out! Seriously thinking of getting the drill press version for my Powermatic, like this one that much.

This a great upgrade for any drill. I use it on my makita sub-compact drill and makes a big difference.

While not specifically listed, this part also fits the Dewalt DCD790 cordless drills.

Will have to give it the test of time, but so far I’m impressed. Feels like low tolerance roller bearing internals, hope the jaws withstand pressure needed to drill into metals without bit slippage. Will update at a later time.

DeWalt cordless chuck would not stay tight and did not run true, installed this chuck to solve those issues but it does not. Bit still works loose and this is picky about how you insert bit and tighten but still comes loose from inertia. Not worth the time or money to switch.
