Mattel Little Mommy Baby So New African-American Doll

Lovely little doll, soft body and sweet smile. I'm not a big fan of the sewn-on headband - our 3 year old pulled it off right away, ldaving weird thread-holes over the doll's ears... BUT the doll is very well priced, the bottle is a delightful addition, and my daughter wants to take her everywhere. We got this doll at the same time as the JC Toys Baby doll ( in Asian) - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002APM86M/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2 and our girl treats them as twins, wants them together at all times. I prefer the JC doll, more realistic and less "cartoony" in the eyes. But this one is also quite nice.

I bought this doll as a model to make baby clothes for charity. She is very lovely and has a soft cuddly body that any little girl will love. I would buy this brand again, all their dolls are very sweet.

This is a good doll. I was desperately looking for a black doll for my kid. There are so many white dolls but black ones are not easy to come by. Was looking for a black doll with natural kinky hair and black person's features. I want my child to be also aware of her blackness and be proud of who she is. She has some white dolls given by friends but in my view it is appropriate for one to also have a doll reflecting their colour and show a child that not only people of a certain race need affection but her own colour as well. Doll seems OK but I am still looking for that perfect doll with a wide nose, large lips and kinky hair. At least this one is good for a start. I have a few made in Africa but they are made of cloth, they are beautiful but looking for one which can be washed and abused and kepts for years to come so it passes down the line.

My neiece loves her and refuses to go anywhere without her. Of course se got 5 of them for Chiristmas. Mine is the one she loves the most. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Beautiful baby - her face is sooooooooooo cute and a deal at 10 bucks!! Way better than ther dolls at my local Walmart for this price point.

My 1 yr old loves this little baby doll. Her body is soft & she is pretty light so my daughter can lift her up & carry her around easily. My husband did point out she is a black baby doll but features look pretty white.

Very cute doll. A little smaller than I expected but has good quality. This was a Christmas present which my daughter really enjoys.
