I’ve been taking One Elevated Methyl Folate for about 6 years and love it. I appreciate the quality that goes in to the product. First of all, it’s produced in the USA and secondly, in an FDA approved facility according to GMP standards. My “Do your math” suggestion is because of all of the complaints I read about people suffering from a rash after using Methyl Folate. Niacin is important for all of us, but too much isn’t good either. When you add up the niacin in all the other supplements we take (plus some foods we eat), it’s easy to get too much. Add One Elevated to all of it (which has a little more that a full daily value) and it’s no wonder people experience what they call a “niacin flush”. I ran into the same thing with calcium when I started using the amount of milligrams my doctor recommended for me in the form of a calcium supplement. But I didn’t do the math and ended up taking WAY more than I needed, due to calcium also being in several other supplements I was using. A niacin flush is no fun! Much worse than a menopausal hot flash! So do your math and make the necessary adjustments. Hopefully you will be able to eliminate a couple other supps by taking this one instead.Note to self: Oops! I don’t normally write reviews. My psychiatric PA recommended this for my partial mthfr mutation I inherited from my mother. She’s at the point where all medications build to toxic levels in her system and she can’t take anything to treat her conditions. I’m hoping to help her use this product and see the results I have. I’m hoping taking this for the rest of my life will help me not get her heart issues and such in the future. I pray to Jesus that this product is never discontinued.I am very in bed with prescriptions and western medicine. My PCP would prescribe anything and everything to help my 4 mental health disorders. I have been dealing with severe and life threatening mental health issues since I was 12 years old. I’m 27 now. I honestly thought supplements were a bunch of hooey.I was on 2 prescriptions on and off for 8 years that I recently found cause significant drug interactions with the mutation. The interaction probably ruined my thyroid and caused my IBS. I struggle with weight and chronic fatigue/insomnia.This supplement has made me better able to absorb my medications, better able to be awake, and helped me lose 8 pounds in about a month. I’ve been stuck at at 210lbs for over 4 years. I used to weight 140-160. This supplement is helping me access the medications I need to lead a sane life. It has been a building block to getting my life back and being the normal well adjusted person I am.I can not stress enough that this supplement is the reason I am able to get up in the morning while my father is dying of terminal cancer and while I struggle everyday to have a job with 8 chronic conditions.Update 9/25/20I went off this supplement awhile ago due to just mismanagement of my stock. Since this review I’ve lost both my parents and gone on and off large doses of gabapentin and benzodiazepines. The last 2 years were some of the most harrowing times I’ve ever experienced. It’s been pure hell. My goal with this review isn’t to say this magic little pill cured my sometimes train wreck of a life. But it helped so much and I don’t know why I ever stopped taking it after reading this again. Short story, we are all suffering a lot right now and maybe you don’t have the 20 bucks for this pill, but it will help a ton and I really regret going off of it and look forward to regaining some relief again. I’ve been using this for some time now and it’s a good baseline. I find I still need to supplement myself with 5 more mg of methylfolate, but I like that this has a general foundation of methylated B vitamins to work with. This is coming from someone with severe issues from my MTHFR variants. A single dose of this might be enough for others.Also though in the description it says this ias only type of folic acid that can blah blah blah. This is NOT folic acid, which is synthetic. Not found in food. This is a type of FOLATE which is found in real food. There is so much misinformation and the fact it says that on Amazon’s description misleads people into thinking they’re the same. So wanted to point that out so people are aware.Also I like that it turns my urine bright yellow as it reminds me I took it, ha.

I ended up in ER and had a scary reaction to this. It took me a while to figure out what the issue was because I take a few medications in the morning together. I had a rash and face burning. My arms and hands were flushed hot stinging and red, and I started getting hives. .. The second time it happened I took a medicine out of my routine, and thought I had conquered it. I also did not take this always.. so today I took it again, and BAM it has returned, and a couple Benadryl took care of the itching that was starting. I have an appoint for allergy testing, and have gone through all sort of mind trips before I figured this out.. READ the REVIEWS
