Received the item quickly. We needed a large blank cover and the size of this was perfect. I don’t know how the installation works. The hardware did not match what was in the ceiling, and so we ended up using silicone glue to adhere it to the ceiling. I would recommend this product.

I ordered three of these plates and they arrived missing one of the tension springs needed to hold it in place. Two of the bags containing each item were not closed when they arrived and other parts were just rolling around in the box that was not sealed properly. I'm guessing the missing spring fell out of a hole in the box. The plates that did arrive look very nice, it's just a pain to have them not arrive with all the correct parts.UPDATE: Sent amazon a message, they sent me another entire plate with all the parts. Well done. Super easy to install, works and looks great.

For the price of the I expect a durable piece of plastic that will maintain it's shape. The first I received was too bent to sit flush to the ceiling and the replacement was even worse. This is cheap, soft plastic that was likely made for pennies. I'll be submitting for a refund and looking for another solution.

Quality is as expected. Used to cover a ceiling light outlet in the closet that is no longer being used.

We had a very cold draft coming in from our recessed kitchen light fixtures. My husband removed the lights and covered thespots with these ceiling plates. They work very well to limit the draft coming in.

I recently purchased the Arlington CP9000 9-Inch Spring Mount Ceiling Plate Cover, and like many other reviewers, I had to return it. Unfortunately, the cover was too warped to be of any use. For the price, I expected it to be made of a more rigid and durable material. The design and concept are good, but the execution falls short. It’s disappointing because it had the potential to be a great product. Hopefully, Arlington will address these issues in future versions.
