Broke the first time the kids used it. We saw it in their yard. Since it was a gift for our neighbor, we didn't ask for it back to return. Awkward.

I saw this and had to buy it. It's so adorable and a very good size. I live in Michigan and we get so much snow, I knew this would be a perfect winter activity for kids and adults alike. And with saying that, I bought this for myself. I'm 33 and I really loved making 10 penguins with the 10 inches we got last night. The plastic is strong and could take me and my strength packing the wet snow into the mold on the sidewalk. They turned out so flipping cute and they're pretty easy to pick up and move around, that is if you pack the mold with wet and slushie snow. Fresh fallen snow might break a part if you attempt to move your penguin.I highly recommend this product!! Every child living in a snowy climate should own one or two.

Absolutely love these snow penguins, so do the neighborhood kids, dogs and anyone passing by really. Everyone is amused and smiling so they’re a cheerful sight to see on an otherwise snowy and dreary day, and something to look forward to after all the hard work shoveling! Definitely need to pack in the snow at the beaks and flippers before adding the bulk of snow into the mold to prevent ‘holes’ or ‘gaps’ on the penguin’s body. Packing in each addition of snow with gloved hands or else using the shovel to compress the snow when the mold is closer to full helps to compact the snow and results in a smoother surface for the penguin too. Softer snow, when compressed well, also makes for clearer features for the penguins. Made 4 last snow fall and 5 again today. They lasted a few days too thanks to the cold weather but we’ve had at least a couple of people taking selfies with them so they’re definitely worth the cheer they bring!

When the stars align you can get a really cool, detailed and crisp penguin. Fun product and exciting to see a surprise penguin.You have to really pack the front details to get the face and wings, but you cannot push too hard or you will pop open the side latches (hoping it does not break).The snow has to be just right...not too wet, not too dry.

This is a great product. You don’t have to fasten the sides together to make him. Just press the two sides together and voila. My five year old daughter loves making these.
