Junk, not a usable tool. ARRIVED BROKEN.
This failed right out of the box. The chisel grooves were not the same left and right so it can never hold a chisel square to the stone. The threads on one jaw came stripped and the device cannot be tightened. The screw cap fell off when I touched it the first time.Fail in every way. Dont waste your time, it will have to go back as soon as it arrives. Buy a different one.

Okay tool
Im not sure whos problem. My chisels don't fit well, but I bought cheap chisels because I wanted to learn how to sharpen. once you have them in, they work.

Nice finish, poor design
The overall finish of the honing guide is very good, but the casting of the blade holder leaves much to be desired. With this type of guide, the sides (marked with the red arrows in the image), are usually tapered, or slant toward the center of the guide so that when the blade is clamped down, it will pinch the blade and pull it closer to the wheel. The sides on this one are nearly, if not actually perpendicular, so that when the blade is clamped in place, just the pressure of the jaws are holding it in place. Couple this with some minor slop in the guide rails, and the blade is almost pushed out of the holder when tightening the clamp. Even if not actually pushed out, just some light pressure on the blade/guide caused the blade to slip out of the clamp. Even when tightened quite well using a screwdriver. I had expected the slop on the guide rails, which is common with this style, but not the issue with the sides. I did not try inserting a chisel in the lower guide, but those slots appear to be well tapered, and might hold well.

Listen people....Its flat out junk. Cast Garbage.
Like everyone else said, garbage.. I had to use a pair of pliers out of the box just to turn the screw... It is sooo poorly made. Cast junk, probably China.. Its extremely crude. Honest to god if you were half a carpenter of what your wife thinks you are, you could make one 10x better from nothing more than a piece of 2x4 that is in your garbage can.
