I'm a beginner at Felting, and saw the technique online. Not only is it useful for felt protects, but it's used in Crochet Projects as well.Bought this kit to start practicing on my Projects and do not regret it.It has the main essentials you need and many needles to worth with.Needles are very small and precise. It was incredibly easy to manipulate the felt into any shape I wanted. Great quality. And were incredibly thorough with attaching pieces down.The foam was personally the perfect size for me. It's close to the size of a book or journal, so I could easily carry it around in my satchel.Same goes with the small container that holds all the other small items. Perfect to keep in my satchel for on the go Projects. I often carry these things around on the weekends, since I enjoy working outdoors.I feel like all the items were good quality. Seem durable (of course you have to be careful worth super fine needles though)The only thing I could complain about, is the smell.There's an incredibly strong smell coming from the finger protectors and needles.I'm not that bothered by it since it doesn't affect the overall quality of the product though.It was a great start for me and I feel like the price was absolutely worth it.Thank you very much!

I am very satisfied with this kit. I just started doing needle felting a few months ago. However, I only had the punch tool ( one needle ) and I was pleasantly surprised to find all the tools I needed in this kit for a good price.As a beginner it's really a good idea to have the finger stall ( because I have a habit of punching my fingers ).The kit comes with the wooden handle with nine different needles of varying sizes for thick to detailed work. It also comes with a mat and finger stall.I bought some colored wool roving to practice my new hobby. I found that I didn't need anything not in the kit so it is complete.The instructions are clear. It has a little plastic case to keep everything you need. It's a fun and engaging hobby and the kit makes it very affordable.

This kit had everything pictured, but the instructions were lacking and I promptly cracked the wooden handle when I attempted to insert one of the needles into it. 😕 The needles still work fine without the handle, but it would have been nice to have to make using them easier. Be prepared to Google or watch YouTube videos to figure out how to use the tools and you'll be fine.

Everything in this pack is a repack of other lesser products, you can get all of this, and 36 to 50 things of felting wool for a few dollars more than what this kit is sold at. Do not buy this, buy a different product.

I think overall it is a good product for someone to get all of the essentials cheaply, but my issue is that mine only contained 7 needles when 9 were advertised. There are three sizes, and while I have 3 of the medium size, it only came with 2 of both the small and large size. It's not a huge deal, as needles are relatively cheap, but it should include what is advertised. I've already made a few small figures, and everything works well. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't missing the needles. Also, the attempt at English in the instructions is laughable, to the point where I couldn't even remotely decipher what they were trying to say.

I saw someone needle felting on Instagram and I just had to try it. This is a great kit for a new start like me. The needles are very sharp and you need go be careful. It is also recommended that you use some special wool but I used just regular sheet felt and felted it onto a regular cotton tee shirt. I'm far from an expert or even an amature but this kit is sure to get me started. It has everything you could need with the exception of the wool. A great buy.

Nine year old crafting afficionado adores this special gift. She says she especially likes the addition of tools not usually offered.The foam mat looked “cheap” to me but she assured me it is “imperative” to the felting process to have a durable and reusable ground to place your wool while felting it.Recipient of this gift gives it “6 Stars” she says!

Excellent package for beginners, of which I am one. The leather thimbles do smell like leather, which I like, and the needles and scissors are covered with a protective oil which wiped off easily with a paper towel. Haven't quite figured out their scissors so I just use my own, but everything else is very good. I would recommend this package of tools to friends.
