Unfortunately, I had a hard time using this laying down; it was vey messy, I’m a plus size woman and with short arms. I had to stand so it wouldn’t leak it couldn’t do that since I was non-weight-bearing at the time.

Having used the device in question, I really don't think it's advisable to attempt using it in a car. You should be in a standing position.
