Q: Is this for mixing with the natural finish vasari lime paint to get your desired color? If so, do you have any instructions on how to mix?

Yes, that is correct. Our Colorants can tint 5 gallons worth of any of our plaster materials, including Lime Paint. Our liquid colorants are easy to mix, just pour over the wet plaster/paint and mix thoroughly with a high speed hole-hawg style drill. Mix until all color is visibly incorporated into the natural white material.

Q: This says “ Formulated for 5 Gallons” but some cost $20 and some cost $60… what size am I buying and for what price?

Hello and thank you for your question. All colorants are formulated for 5 gallons worth of plaster or Lime Paint. Price difference is related to how much pigment is needed to create the color. Lighter colors will start at $20.

Hello, The colorants are meant to be mixed with any of the dry mix bags to produce 5 gallons of a ready to use plaster. The directions for mixing are located on the dry mix bag.

No. The product you have selected is a colorant. This is a concentrated color used to tint the Plaster products from Vasari. For example; Vasari Carrera or Vasari Marmorio. You should look at our selection of Vasari Plasters or Vasari Lime Paint. Thank you.
