Did not meet expectations
This chair is advertised as being sturdy, but immediately collapsed upon sitting. Talks about 330 lb capacity. Tried it with a 250 lb person, it broke.... Do not recommend!

Best Subcompact Chair for a heavy person
Until I bought the Naturehike chairs (I have 2), I'd given up on the subcompact chair category. I weigh 280 lbs, and it doesn't take long for the plastic terminal that connects the poles on most of this type of chair to fail, particularly in beach sand.I was looking around Amazon, and I saw Naturehike had re-engineered the subcompact chair: they substituted a big, drilled red aluminum tube for the janky plastic terminals everyone else uses. So I ordered one. It works so well I got another, the high back I'm reviewing here. All of these chairs are a little wiggly; they're made out of tent poles, so no surprise.I use the chair primarily for paddle boarding. It fits inside my Yeti Panga backpack, along with a little cooler and some other gear. When I get to the island, the dog plays in the sand while I set the chair up. It takes me less than a minute. Bam, comfort that fits in a small backpack. One note: If you use this thing around saltwater, rinse it VERY carefully after use. Experience tells me that anodized aluminum of different alloys will weld itself together if you give it an electrolyte (salt). I haven't had any problem whatsoever, but I rinse it well.I'm looking forward to using this chair for the canoe camping season that's almost upon us here in Florida. It's more comfortable than my Wal Mart folding chair, and about 1/10 the size and weight.

Product failed, NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE!
I was really stoked to find a camp chair that was super light weight and compact with a weight limit of 300 lbs (I weigh about 250) however within about 3 hours of use and while standing up both front legs blew out. To make matters worse I have now discovered that Naturehike will not warranty replace or exchange their failed products after deliver and or use!!! (Thanks China) anyway this was a 60$ mistake that I won’t be making again. Neither should you!!

Awful Product
Awful product. Never physically difficult to put together. Also, it does not fold for transportation or storage. You need to take the whole this apart! Also, very unsturdy. I fell off it twice. IT DOES NOT COME WITH DIRECTIONS. Had to find it on U-Tube. Non of the videos were in English. We found we could follow along, showed one of his sons sitting on the chair after he assembled it. He almost fell off, too! Not safe. Not comfortable! Dangerous, especially for kids or older adults. Definitely now worth the money.

Superior frame design
Overall, I really like this chair for what it is and I'm happy with the purchase. The frame design is superior to others as there are no plastic connectors to break. Take a look at some of the other brands and pics posted of broken parts. That's what sold me on this chair. However, it does fall over backwards easily when not using it due to the high back. The rear legs could have been an inch or two longer to prevent this IMO but when seated, the chair is very stable. It is probably a feature of all chairs like this but when you sit down it tends to wrap around you a bit. The larger hip crowd may have trouble and the chair "sticks" to you a bit when trying to exit.

Durable and compact
I'm 270lbs, and it holds me fine. Very compact and light weight. It fits perfectly inside my Goldwing saddlebags.

Motorcycle Feiendly
We purchased two of these after seeing a friend with one. Great quality material, very sturdy. The best part is these fit perfect in the tour pack on our motorcycle. Now when we do charity rides and arrive early. We can get these out and sit in comfort while we wait. They are very light weight and perfect for the motorcycle.

Broke within 1st hr, for 160lb person — tube seam is garbage
Few minutes into having it set up, the third person to try it out sat, and one of the main aluminum tubes split right down the seam. We’re only 120/180/160lbs, so not large people at all. It’s super comfy and I’m glad it broke when it did, as we were about to order two more.

Great little camp chair.
I like that this chair is easy to assemble and very comfortable. I like how high it is off the ground and the high back as well. It is quite lightweight for the size as well. The only downfall is that I wish it packed up in a smaller bag for backcountry camping. It is quite large. Can’t wait to test it out this summer! Hopefully it last longer then the other 2 packable camp chairs I have gone through.

Not as tough as it looks... I bought TWO and will be returning both.
Bought two of these chairs.. one for me and one for the wife. The handle on the bag of the black one ripped out when I pulled it out of the plastic packaging. Assembled the chair, and was actually impressed with how easy it was to set up. I opened the 2nd chair (green) and thought I would assemble that one as well.. no luck. One of the poles and lines snapped and fell apart before I could even put it together. I had high hopes for this chair.

Fabric Does Not Fit Chair
I'm so disappointed. I bought 2 of these chairs as a gift for my husband and he opened them yesterday and the fabric does not fit either chair. There is just no way it can get on. Now my return window has closed and I am stuck with 2 chairs - I am really hoping that Amazon will help us out here and let us return these so I can order a different brand. Thank you.

LOVE these chairs. We have two. They are easy to use, light, pack up small, and are very comfortable! Fills all the checkboxes we were looking for.
